We had a very pleasant experience with the owners, Jeff and Mandy. The rafting season was close to the end and we were last minute with our decision to take a float ride down the Snake River. They worked with us to make things happen. The experience was exactly what we hoped for… very scenic, lots of eagles, great information from Jeff along the way, and extremely safe. I’d highly recommend this company to others.

Black Dog Rafting Company was kind enough to DONATE a scenic float to a local nonprofit organization focused on protecting the Snake River watershed. My friends and I were the lucky recipients. Living in Jackson they were kind enough to pick us up and drop us of at my home, making it incredibly convenient.
The 10 of us had a wonderful time, enjoying the beautiful scenery, the wildlife, the fun water, and our guide Jeff.
Thank you for giving back to the community!

Great experience! Easy booking, they pick you up and super professional and easy going hosts in Mandy and Jeff. My children were young for a triple this (4 and 5) but were so well behaved the whole time!
It’s a wonderful way to spend the day. Nice and knowledgeable hosts, beautiful scenery.

Great company. The reservation process was super easy, as was the shuttle to and from the drop-​in and take-​out spots. I would highly recommend. Can’t beat their discounts for kids. Jeff was a great guide. Our 4 year old loved being able to steer for a bit.

My wife and I took our 6 year old twin daughters on rafting trip when we were on vacation in Wyoming. We all had a great time rafting with Jeff. He was friendly, knowledgable, funny, and very patient with our crazy kids. We saw eagles, herons, baby ducks surfing on the rapids, and some other wildlife too. All around a wonderful trip and we would do it again with Jeff and Mandy in a heartbeat.

Ordered some items from this «Company» and was pretty disappointed when I only received part of my order, but was charged for ALL of the items. I emailed them and was told they would look into it, but they never got back to me. Two more emails were sent and they simply ignored then and never reversed the charges for the items I did not receive. They are nothing more than petty thieves who take advantage of strangers. I would give 0 starts if it were possible.

We had a group of 12 ranging in age from 2 to 40 years and everyone had a great time. The 6 kids all had a ton of fun. Jeff was our guide and provided a safe and fun trip and pointed our numerous bald eagles along the way. Three of the older kids got to steer the raft. And everyone who wanted to was able to jump in the water at a couple of safe points to cool off. The lunch provided was awesome. Thank you Mandy and Jeff!
