My review is mostly about service versus product. I love Bops frozen custard and the quality is always there. But on a recent trip to MS, I wanted to surprise a couple of family members with a Bop treat. I mentioned the short travel distance between the Bop location and the family and having to transport a couple of goodies. The young gentleman at this Bop location assured me that he would «fix me up» with a treat guaranteed to make it frozen in my travel time. He wasn’t kidding — 30 minutes later those specially packed treats made it to their intended recipients all perfectly maintained and delicious. This young man’s attitude and enthusiasm over such a simple thing made my day — and I will forever be reminded how the small things can make such a difference! Thanks for your great employees!

Bop’s Frozen Custard was one of the first spots I ever visited in the great state of MS after moving here eight years ago, and I’ve been a fan ever since! The ice cream here is just SO GOOD. Because they make it like custard, it’s thicker and richer than your standard ice cream. They make the custard in-​house daily so it’s always super delicious and fresh!
They mostly only offer ice cream, custard type treats here, but what more could you want? Get a milkshake, get a root beer float, get a banana split, get an ice cream cone, they’ve got it all.
The «concrete» is basically the Bop’s version of a McFlurry– the toppings are blended into the custard. It is SO GOOD! You get to pick the toppings you want and they’ll blend them right into the cream for you. So good.
It’s a pretty inexpensive place so if you need a sweet treat, check it out!

It’s good, but not awesome. The custard is pretty great, but they’re stingy with the concrete toppings. They also aren’t very efficient, and fill every order before taking the next order, which makes the line take a long time.

You want ice cream? Come here. This is truly 5 star ice cream.
People are often confused by the «frozen custard» moniker, but that just refers to how the ice cream is made — you make a custard and churn it as it freezes. This yields a thick, rich ice cream. Like gelato, there is less air in the ice cream and it is served at a higher temperature to allow you to experience the flavor more intensely! The ice cream is made fresh daily.
The menu is basically what you might expect — ice cream based treats. And that’s all you really need to know.
They do shakes and floats if that’s what you want, but where I think they shine is their «concrete». This is essentially just toppings blended into the custard — it is dreamy. You can select your own toppings and even blend in a different flavor.
There are also a few sundry things on the menu, but really, its all about the ice cream.

They got out order wrong, tried to make us pay for their mistake and to top it off the frozen custard wasn’t that good. I would stick to buying ice cream from the store or going somewhere else.
I read good reviews on here but I wasn’t impressed.

Great custard and frozen yogurt shop!!! I had the kid’s size «Snappy Turtle» sunday and it was delish. Personally, the kids size is the perfect size — it was probably close to 12 ounces! The staff was friendly! I used frozen yogurt because I find custard to be too thick and sweet for me, but there was a line of happy people who loved the custard. Check this place out!

Went here on a rainy summer night– got their mocha cha ya ya sundae. It was super rich, tasty, creamy, and I definitely felt guilty eating it, but once I started I couldn’t stop!
The chocolate flakes gave it a slightly crunchy texture and the coffee flavor was not overly sweet.
It’s a cute ice cream stand– service was great and prices are decent. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth!
I’ll be back here if I’m in the area again!

Great little frozen custard shop, something you don’t see much of in the south! Stop in for friendly service, reasonable prices and the best damned $ 3.69 hot fudge milkshake on the planet! They’ll even add a topping, for FREE. Maybe some Heath pieces mixed in? Just sayin…

Yum. The custard is so creamy and thick, I can see why this place is so popular. They have loads of flavors that you can add to the original custard, or if you are trying to lose weight they have low fat options too. I got their latest creation, a cookie sundae which consists of their original vanilla custard, whipped cream, hot fudge sauce, a cookie broken into two halves and topped with a cherry. It was amazing. Even the cookie was good and chewy. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for something sweet.

Fun to sit outside with a frozen treat. Stick with the ice cream/​frozen custard sweets. The snow cones can’t compare with SnoBiz. Chicken salad sandwich and pulled pork sandwich are average.

Love me some frozen custard! Maybe a little too much. Not that we have much of a frozen custard selection in town, but they make a good batch of it here. I’ve never been disappointed. It is easy to find something for everyone to enjoy here. On the side, the burgers and tamales are good too.

How does this place not have any reviews yet??? This place is awesome, and we always stop by for a Snappy Turtle despite the cold weather. Frozen custard/“concretes” that stay put when you turn the cup upside down… delicious!
The workers here are awesome too! Even when we come a little after closing, they open up for us! Awesome service and awesome desserts!
