Cardo’s Pizza

I love love love Cardos. I have since I was in high school and used to come here to hang out after school. So many fun memories! The food is so good – love the pizza and subs. Practically dream about it when I’m living elsewhere :)
Awesome text message club you can join, and buffet and carry out rewards cards. it’s not the cheapest, but you can get good deals and even if not it’s worth it.
faves – buffalo chicken pizza, BBQ chicken pizza, Italian sub, and cheeseburger pizza (not on menu but delicious). just… do yourself a favor and go to the buffet so you can try it all.

BBQ chicken pizza and loaded fries… YUM! I travel to Jackson for work a few times and month and Cardo’s is always my top choice for dinner. If you have never had Cardo’s I highly recommend it. It’s delicious!!!
The pizza burger is also really good.

Who doesn’t deliver on a FRIDAY AT 7:30pm that’s crazy they deliver on Fridays but only till 2pm. WTH

I ordered «the works“pizza, and It was very delicious. I ate until I was stuffed, and still had half a pizza left. I scoped out the buffet while I was waiting for my order. Even though I am not usually a fan of buffets, this one was well done and worth trying for variety.

Had a Dijon Chicken sub for lunch. Very good. The Amish potato salad was also excellent.

From fond high school memories to more recent urgent cravings, Cardo’s does it for me every time.
The ham and cheese sandwiches (extra cheese, mayo on the side, and an order of fries) were a staple of my high school days, and I’ll still sometime pick one up when I’m in Jackson. The BLT pizzas are amazing: bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and the perfect amount of mayo. Delicious each time.
If you’re looking for a different experience, give the BBQ chicken pizza a try. I know this is by no means unique to Cardo’s, but there’s a certain something different about their BBQ chicken that I prefer to similar dishes I’ve tried elsewhere.
The only thing you have to remember about Cardo’s is that it’s NOT OPEN ON SUNDAY. I don’t know how many times I’ve thought «BLT pizza!» only to be depressed with my face pressed up against a giant «Closed» sign 10 minutes later. If you can rein in your cravings to the other 6 days of the week, Cardo’s is pizza perfection.

If you are a lover a thin crust, then this is the pizza for you. The BLT and Chicken Bacon Ranch are my favorites. Cardo’s is always coming up with new creative pizzas. The cinnamon sticks are a wonderful to end your dining experience

It’s been 11 years since I moved away from Jackson and there are still nights when I dream about eating Cardo’s pizza and breadsticks. I’ve never really tasted any other pizza like it, with it’s crackery crust and a sauce that really captures the tang of a tomato without overpowering the toppings. Though really to me, even the pizza is secondary when compared to the breadsticks.
I know that they’re just a sub bun cut up, buttered and seasoned but whatever they use is some sort of mix between rainbows and liquid crack. The cravings for it never go away.
The buffet is a great deal, and it’s nearly impossible to walk in the doors without seeing someone you know. All the locals eat there already, but if you’re passing through Jackson and are looking for something tasty, you don’t need to look any farther than Cardo’s Pizza!
