Very good food items and coffee here. The choc candy is excellent.

delicious gourmet chocolates and pastries on par with any chocolatier in a major city, including what I’ve had while I lived in France. Pastry Chef Ortega received his culinary training in Mexico City and uses chipotle and other interesting flavors in his chocolates. We ordered two pastries, I got the vanilla custard pastry with fresh jam in the middle on a shortbread cookie which was amazing, the vanilla flavor was outstanding. My husband got the chocolate flourless pastry which was so rich that we desparately had to order two coffees to cleanse the palate. their coffee is served in french presses(my favorite way of making good coffee) and the coffee was like everything we tasted there. perfection the shop was surprisingly empty but maybe it was because it was a harsh cold winter day

We got turned onto this place by our snowmobile guide who told us that Pastry Chef Ortega competed in international chocolate competitions. That was enough for us. We’re not especially chocolate/pastry types, but we appreciate world class everything, especially in a town as small as Jackson. We were impressed. This was as good as anything I’ve had anywhere in the desert category: SF, NYC, Paris, Brussels, anywhere.
