I’ve gone here, off and on, through the years to get photography supplies and look at new cameras. Back when I was in the real darkroom, I was here a good bit more to get paper, slide cases, and negative sleeves a lot more often. Lately, I don’t make it inside very much. I am in the market for a new camera and a new lens, so I thought I would stop in and see if they had what I needed as I’d just assume give my business to a local shop. They didn’t have the lens I wanted to look at, but that was no big deal. I shoot Pentax and it just isn’t as popular as it once was. They did have the camera though, and I asked to take a look at it. The person that helped me was anything but helpful/nice, I tried my best to make some conversation, but he wasn’t interested. I was in there with my kids, who were making a bit of a racket while playing with the stores train set(for kids), so maybe that was making him grumpy, or who knows, but whatever the reason, I just was very off put. I was looking at a camera over 1,000 dollars, one of which I am sure they would like to get out of their inventory, but he had about 0% interest in helping me. I then inquired about a camera that retails for over 2250 with lens and he just pointed and said yeah, we have them, they are over there on the other side. No offer to let me look, no helpful product advice, nothing. I am going to give him the benefit of a bad day, etc, but he is why there are only 3 stars here. The rest of the staff was super friendly! I ended up buying a little picture frame just because the other employees were so friendly.
