I am from California, but now moved to Michigan and it has been a true mission to find a good hairstylist and hair salon and I’ve found it! Seeing that hardly anyone reviews places in Michigan, it was even harder to find a good place, but I finally took a chance on Divinity Design Studio. I called requesting for a Brazilian Blowout because another salon I visited in Dearborn told me I should get one because my hair was very damaged and it would help my hair. I didn’t want to drive the 1.5 hours, so I chose to call Divinity. Automatically, they had me talk to a hair stylist named Michelle Lyke. She asked me the condition of my hair and said to come in to look at my hair before she did anything. So I went in on the same day and she looked at my hair and said that the honest truth was that my hair was severely damaged and no Brazilian blowout would fix it, much less make it worse! I thought it was so nice of her to tell me the truth, being that she could have made me pay the $ 250 for the Brazilian blowout. She told me I didn’t have much options other than cutting my hair because my ends were so damaged there was no way I was going to repair them. I told her I didn’t want to cut my hair so short, so she recommended hair extensions. I needed a quick fix as I was flying to California in a few days, so she recommended a Split End treatment, which was the best $ 75 I spent. I got a trim on my hair and a split end treatment that made a drastic difference on my burnt ends! I left with my hair smoother and my ends looked healthy for a change. Michelle was so helpful, honest, and talented at what she does. I recommend her if you go to Divinity. I cannot speak for the rest, because Michelle is the only hair stylist I have had. She is a Master Designer certified in extensions and a Brazilian blowout specialist.

Excellent place for haircut and massage. I’ve come here the past couple of years and have always been satisfied with their service. The place is very nicely set up. All their workers seem to enjoy working there. The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of a 5 is because I had a make up done there and they charged me $ 35 for a foundation, lip gloss and eye liner. The pricing of your haircut depends in the seniority level of your hairdresser. When you make an appt they’ll ask how much you’d like to spend on your haircut. I just had my first massage there recently and it was heavenly. Ask for Angel she is awesome. They do full bridal service too mani pedi etc.
