This is one of the best fish sandwiches in Jackson. The fish came with about 5 perfectly fried fillets. So lots of fish. Kinda hot while waiting for the order but it is worth it.

I can’t believe — I’m just doing a review on Eddie & Ruby’s, well it’s actually called Eddie’s now. But I’ve been eating at this place for well over twenty years. Standard fair catfish, Pan Trout fish joint. But they are venturing in serving other things. But I stick to what they make best Catfish Fillets and Pan Trout(Whitting). But it’s basic country cooking and some have the preference — you have Valley Street Fish House up the block and then you have Eddie’s. Both are just as good as the other, Valley Street stays open later at night — therefor the increased business. But if you want some down home fried fish — you can’t go wrong with Eddie’s. For all you people caught up on aesthetics — Eddie’s is in Washington Addition(the hood) — but I’ve seen people of all races and no one has had any problems. But if you get on the venturesome side looking for OTHER things — then you are on your own. But if you stick to the grub, you should be in good shape.

The best place in Jackson to get fish. It’s cooked to order as you wait. The pan trout sandwich is my favorite. They also have cat fish and buffalo. Everything is cooked fresh. It’s worth the wait.
