Hunter’s Family Restaurant

The family run establishment is a favorite with locals for a reason. It’s home cookin’. And it’s delicious. I went for breakfast. Joined a friend for some eggs and bacon and such. If they didn’t have it on the line, they will make it for you.
For lunch, this is classic meat & three fare. Again, everything cooked to exacting family recipes. And the prices are great! 1 Meat, 2 vegetables, bread & beverage will cost you less than $ 7. This is the south, y’all! Pull up a chair!
I must also add that there’s a certain comfortable southern charm to the place. Make no mistake – this is no frills dining. That’s because the food is total comfort food. I’ve heard the fried pork chops and the fried chicken are the real lunch winners. Someday I will go back for that. Holler if you’re coming with.
