My girl friend who never has anything to say about my hair cuts. Today asked me if I tried cutting my own hair. Sadly I had to say no I paid 30 dollars with a tip at Justin’s barber shop in Jackson.

John Martone is great! Always does want you want. Been going here since 2008. I recently move to PA and still come here since they cannot cut hair there like he does.

I have been going to Justin’s since moving to Jackson 2 ½ years ago. They do a great job and always have a ton of people on staff. They also do a great job with hair cuts. The only«knock» on them is that their prices continue to rise. They are above average at this point. 4 stars overall(price included) — 5 stars for everything else.

Frank cut my hair and it’s probably one of the best that I have had. He was very particular and patient while cutting it and he did not rush even with his next TWO clients missing. Price is a bit high for a barber shop, but well worth it. I would def. go here for a nice fade and ask for Frank! He’s da man! I usually switch places each haircut bc I’m never satisfied but I think this place is a keeper!

Just took my 15 month old son and the woman cutting his hair was great. She was patient and even with all his moving and fussing gave his a perfect hair cut.

When I lived in Jackson, I went to Justin’s for years… pretty much ever since they opened which was several years ago by now(I lost track… probably at least 5). For the past few years I have been getting my haircut by John and he is excellent, although you will never go wrong with anyone in there. This is the only barber shop that I would let any barber cut my hair, they all do a great job. But I just have always preferred to stick with John. This is definitely a youth oriented, New York style barber shop and they openly advertise as such… however, I still see«older» guys get their haircut here and they certainly will cut anyone’s hair any way you want. Prices are set by barbers and have gone up minimally over the years, $ 15 for a regular cut, $ 18 for a taper/fade, and I’m not sure about beards because I don’t have one but they do those as well. You can’t go wrong with Justin’s…they now have several locations. Check out their website( ) for exact addresses and hours. Also, definitely make an appointment especially if you have a certain barber you like. Walk-ins can wait a long time, or they tell you up front you’ll need to come back in a couple hours when it’s less busy.
