Kennedy Trailing Wheel Park

Great dog park and had a beautiful view at the top of the hill. However it seems like nobody knows about it.

GREAT PARK FOR BOTH HUMANS AND DOGS! My mom and I were visiting from the Bay Area and wanted a place to have lunch. We drove by this little gem and am glad we decided to stop. There are 4 trailing wheels (we only visited #3 and #4) which you can drive up in our car in or hike up. The hike is not too strenuous or long (my elderly disabled mom was able to walk it up) and you can either go on the paved road or well marked road that are little rocks but very safe. The park is also very clean, provides water fountains and very comfortable bathrooms.
We had also gone crazy trying to find the dog park that other Unilocalers had identified in other posts, but it turned out to be here! It’s slightly hidden behind bathrooms and you won’t see it from road but it’s here! It’s not separated into small/​big dog parks, just one big one but it has ample shade and drinking water/​dish for doggies. I was here for a total of 4 hours and 2 sets of dogs came in to play. Owners and dogs were really friendly and I will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Jackson. :)
