Nice to get away from downtown and the food was simple but tasty. Chicken piccata was just the way I like it — tender pieces of chicken over linguini with lots of nice light sauce to dip bread in.

Tried to have a birthday party here. My daughter loves the food but they never returned our calls, left messages on answering machine and tried to call during business hours, no answer

Dinner last night. Arrived early. Not many patrons. Greeted and seated promptly. I ordered the Risotto Frite and a Caesar salad. Both were really good and well presented. My wife ordered a pizza which she felt was not great. Part way thru our meal our server disappeared only to reappear after repeated inquires. Overall, it was good and we will return.

I had the wild mushroom pizza, my husband had the wild game sausage pizza, both were delicious. They are wood fired type, thin crust, with delicious marinara sauce. We also had a very good Cesar Salad. And the sangria with red wine was delicious. We would definitely come back. We sat at the bar on a fairly quiet Sunday night and the service was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere.

I don’t know why this place has 3 stars. I loved this place. we went there for dinner. Our waiter was very polite, the food was great and the ambience is good too. We ordered basically every course– drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. I tried the Risotta Frite, a pesto chicken pizza, shrimp fa diavlo and the coffee crème brûlée. The pizza was good, the shrimp in my pasta were cooked perfectly and the sauce was spicy(like it should be), and my husband hates cheese but he loved the risotto frites so that says a lot about it. The sugar on the dessert was bruleed wonderfully and the top cracked. The custard was balanced with just the right amount of coffee. I will go back here on my next trip to Jackson, for sure.

Really delicious Italian food! I had chicken picatta and was delighted with the generous amount of capers that were on it and how good it was. My husband had the #6 red pizza and it was great too. Nice thin crust and generous with the toppings. The restaurant is really nice inside too and service is good and friendly.

Excellent service for our server TREY! Great ambiance and music selection to fall in love to. My uncle had their lasagna which was excellent. The pepperoni pizza had a light crispy crust, flavorful sauce and the pepperoni was spicy and I can tell it’s a very speciality meat. I had the chicken parm and it was a generous serving, crispy, hot, fresh and juicy. Overall a fantastic experience and we will return on our next trip to Jackson.

Everyone has different taste when it comes to pizza. If you like real thin crust, light sauce, and very light cheese, you love their pizza. They only have thin crust, no other options. I prefer thicker crust pizza with heavier sauce and generous portions of cheese and condiments. One good thing was on the Hawaiian they used fresh pinapple.

Delicious. Pizza was great and the Risotto Frite was to die for, I could have had it as a full meal. They were quick to accommodate our table of 7, however our waitress didn’t really check back often. I also had a delightful sangria. Will likely be back our next visit.

One of the best and most consistent restaurants n the Jackson area. Really decent New York style pizza with many options to suit almost every palate. Arugula salad is also pretty amazing and fresh ! Cocktail selection is creative and pretty good!

I don’t know what all these reviews are about?! We just had a lovely experience at pizza artisan after a long day of river rafting. We sat down with a party of 14 and the service was terrific! Everyone was pleased with their pizzas and pastas, it all came out on time… drinks, appetizers, entrees… even coffee. Such a lovely dinner! Make sure you ask for Brandon. He was so attentive and ran everything like a pro!

My husband and I got spaghetti and penne pesto. I woke up and had a horrible upset stomach eating the spaghetti. The food was a cheaper quality.

The dining room and bar are nice, but the pizza is very average. It is in a weird location and there are better options in town

The server was amazing. The food was delicious!!! The reason they only received 2 stars is that I gave my server information regarding a food allergy. I was told the kitchen could accommodate. I enjoyed my meal, however, within an hour I vomiting. Once the meal was out of my system I was fine. Great service, the food tastes great, but if you have any food allergies be very careful.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. Each experience has compelled me to write a review. Sorry. The 1st time was when it was Pizza Antiqua. At the time, they had only been opened for a month so we went there as a company dinner. The pizza was blah at best. It was a neapolitan pizza but it was billed as a regular boutique pizza. I’ve had plenty of neo-style pizza and liked it but this was, at best, barely cooked dough with a few tomato slices and some arugula. Okay, so they’re new and still working out the system. Fast forward to today, over a year later. The seating was nice, staff fine for seating and serving, and the wine was good. My girlfriend and I split an Antica salad and that was really good. Very interesting to eat. But then came the baked pasta bolognese. For $ 18, that was the saddest pasta dish I’ve tried to eat. I had better bolognese in a mall in Mexico City. Bolognese requires the same skill to prepare as spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta tasted like it had been on the shelf at Albertsons for 2 years. The pork was very dry. The sauce had no flavor at all. For the money we spent on that dish, we could have gone to the grocery store and fed 8 people with the same dish for the same price and it would have tasted far better. The final insult was the server asking if everything was okay, after coming back to the table and seeing we had barely eaten ¼ of the plate. She asked if we wanted to box the dish and I told her, «No, thank you, it really wasn’t that good.» Here response was only, «Okay.» The remains were spirited away and we had our bill shortly thereafter, with no worry, concern, bill alteration, or otherwise. We would have expected a, «Oh dear, I’m sorry, is there anything I can do?» Anything. Basic restaurant service. I rarely write a review but this one finally chapped me to write a negative. Sorry guys, 2 strikes and you’re out. For $ 50, I’m sadly disappointed. Of the few vaguely affordable choices in Jackson, this is off the list.

Thé food was bland, tasteless and soggy. I ordered a #4 pizza and it wasn’t even as good as a dominoes pizza. The service was great and the view was great but the most important thing the food was very weak.

Solid food and good service at a good price. They have a nice atmosphere with comfortable booths. I come to Jackson twice a year and will definitely put this on my list.

The worst pizza ever! I love my pie but this was awful tried two different pizza and both were horrid. The service was ok but no one asked us how our food was. I always give a place two chances but not this one. Yuck, I will say the prices were fair and atmosphere was nice but that is it!
