Solid, simple downtown eats later at night. Love it for quick grub while hanging at a venue. Plus snacks nearby King Edward hotel and the standard life building.

GA-REAT and locally owned which is ALWAYS a plus, I especially like they advertise getting local ingredients. I’ve been driving past this place since last year and shame on me for not stopping sooner. Yesterday had a late, late lunch and it was one of the few places downtown still open and BOY was I glad. Shared a mushroom/onion pizza, I’m sure we’ll fight over the leftovers tonight. While pizza is not my fave and I LONGAGO wrote off all carry-out, xcept Papa Murphys. This joint, THISJOINT, makes a great pie!!! Starting with the dough on up, made in house and that is evident in the taste, temperature and quality. The owner was nice enough to let me tour the lobby of the historic and beautiful Standard Life Building while we waited. great photo op — The best part of their pizza is they use enough sauce to actually see it and a generous amount of cheese. The burgers are sourced locally and hand slapped patties, that will be next on my list.

Perfect little lunch spot in quiet downtown Jackson. Part deli, part bodega, all good! Funky, eclectic vibe with a coffee-shop feel, including leather couch, pillows, books and magazines. Friendly service. The Roach St Roast Beef sandwich is delicious and full of flavor! Add a bag of Zapp’s chips and you’ve got lunch for under $ 10. Not bad! If I ever find myself in Jackson on a weekend(not likely), I’ll try the brunch chicken & waffles!

The atmosphere is bright and inviting, and it’s very convenient for picking up some snacks or items for around the house, while also grabbing an amazing meal. The breakfast pizza was awesome!
