Decent sports bar just outside of downtown Jackson. It’s located on the second floor above another restaurant. At first I wasn’t sure how to get up to the restaurant but then noticed a dark staircase that led to the second level. I watched the Super Bowl here and it had a great atmosphere for watching a game. No specials though. The menu consists of mostly comfort food, but the prices aren’t that comfortable. I found most of the food overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. It served it’s purpose but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Food wasn’t that great but edible. Our waitress couldn’t care less about our table and messed up several orders. Personally I won’t go back.

We loved this place! Stopped in to watch some football bowl games. Great sports bar with tons of TVs and pretty decent beer selection. We loved the food. Highly recommend the pretzel. Would definitely go back.

Pretzel — amazing Carne Asada — amazing The only problem is that eating the entire pretzel is not advisable if you expect to domain the carne Asada. I had to leave about a quarter of it on the plate, as tempted as I was to scarf it down. Place was pretty quiet, but sports on the tvs and pleasant staff make it a pretty good spot to watch a game.

Saw this place featured on Triple D so wanted to try it. Food was good, but service was only so-so. Floor was so sticky we were looking for puddles outside to clean our shoes. And what’s with the misc food charge?!

Well, the world’s best chicken pot pie according to the receptionist at Wyoming Inn was not true. Too creamy for my taste. The fried green tomatoes had too much breading and barely tasted the tomato. The calamari was way too salty. The trout was good because it right amount of seasoning and well cooked. Our server was very good and very attentive. The atmosphere is a sports bar. Not too loud and lots of flat screen TVs.

Tried the fish and chips … Lots of breading, average — nothing to get excited about. Service was exceptional, ask for Brandy!

Just ordered takeout. Went to get it and eventually one of the 7 people working there… Counting tips… Decided to come ask me what I want. Umm I want the takeout I ordered. Eventually I get someone to collect the food I ordered. 50 $ for 3 items… Not cheap So what do I find when I get back to the hotel? They gave me zero of the two drinks I ordered and zero utensils to eat the food. Great call SideChumps… Why would a customer want what they ordered or the utensils to eat it? Basically this place appears to be a shitty bar and nothing more. Go anywhere else, lord knows there are a lot of choices in Jackson Did I mention that the food was a joke? Hey owner, good luck. With that staff and the crap food I’m guessing your in debt and not getting out of that trap anytime soon. Maybe turn it into a parking lot?

We had a fantastic lunch here today. We specially stopped here because of Triple D food net work show with Guy. Had two appetizers, the Mac and cheese bites and the famous Guy pretzel. Both outstanding. The service was very friendly and quick. Also had pastrami sandwich. The chef came over and was very informative and nice. Should have tried the French onion soup. Maybe next time we are in Jackson Wy. Well worth trying this great Tavern. Wish we lived closer.

We went here for lunch, when we entered we were immediately greeted by a hostess. It wasn’t busy at all, we got a booth near the window. The server can right to the table with water. She was very nice. We looked this place up because of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We ordered the stuffed pretzel with cheese, pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapenos. So it doesn’t taste like a pretzel, it taste like pizza dough. A little misleading but it was still really good. Also, ordered the chicken pot pie. The crust was very buttery and flaky, the sauce was very creamy and flavorful. The only negative I would have is, for it to be a «chicken» pot pie it didn’t have alot of chicken in it. Mainly potatoes, carrots and mushrooms. Which I plucked out because I don’t like them. My friend had the bar bq ranch salad with Carne asada steak. She said it was good but the meat is what made the salad. Otherwise, it’s just a regular salad. Whatever the steak was marinated in made the meat very flavorful.

I came to Sidewinders last week and had a fairly pleasant experience. I was part of a group, and this restaurant was very good about seating us immediately and getting our orders out quickly. The table ordered several appetizers to start, all of which were very reasonably priced. The nachos, in particular, were huge, loaded, and only cost $ 5. I ordered a plate of wings and a bowl of french onion soup for myself. Neither dish was anything to write home about, but the soup especially came highly recommended — the waiter went so far as to point out that it had been featured on the television show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, but it was just, like, soup. Sort of a let down. I wouldn’t go out of my way to patronize Sidewinder’s Tavern again, but it was a great place to go with a group.

Sidewinders in named after the aerospace missile. We got comfort food — kids chicken fingers, avocado Swiss burger, ranch burger, and paleo burger. We started with onion rings, and we are really glad we came.

After a fairly pricey meal in town the night before, we wanted to eat near our hotel(Wyoming Inn) after a big day in Grand Teton NP. When we looked in the window, we were undecided as all we could see were lots of TVs showing sport, lots of guys at the bar and a few booths but as we walked in, we could see a separate dining area. There’s a huge selection of pub style meals including the usual starters of wings, mozzarella sticks etc + burgers & sandwiches + a large range of salads & some larger meals such as steaks. My ‘Summer Salad’ was delicious, packed with candied pecans, blue cheese crumbles, fresh raspberries, salad leaves and a tangy dressing. Topped with grilled chcken, it was $ 14 and enormous. My husband enjoyed a 225g(8oz) steak with 2 sides for $ 22. It was cooked as requested and came with crispy onions and bread. Sidewinders isn’t anything fancy but the service was good and the meal for two with 1 glass of wine was less than $ 40.

Hot, soft pretzels are almost the perfect food. Sidewinders takes the pretzel and(somehow) makes it better. How, you ask? They put CHEESE and PEPPERONI and JALAPENOS in it. It’s okay, I’ll wait for you to pick your jaw up off the floor. To wipe the drool from your face and clean up the pool that has puddled on your laptop. Ready for the rest of the review? Okay. Allegedly service is an issue here, but we sat at the bar and had great service. As the resident Unilocal«I keep being disappointed by allegedly incredible macaroni and cheese critic,» this was not the best, but not the worst. The pasta was cooked well(usually a big problem), and the cheese flavor was spot on(disclaimer: I had buffalo chicken fingers in mine). The downfall: the sauce doesn’t really stick to the pasta. Instead of just eating a bite of macaroni and cheese, you kinda piece together a bit by taking some pasta and then dragging it through the cheese. Not bad, but not… good. If they tweaked that just a bit it would have been pretty awesome. Like the nice selection of local beers, that’s definitely something I appreciate about a bar. If for no other reason, the pretzel from heaven(that should really be its name) is worth stopping in for.
