The employees of this truck stop Taco Bell were friendly and hospitable. They(for whatever reason) seemed to actually care about the customers, making sure we got the most for our money, as well as just being generally pleasant. We were reminded of a not-so-fond memory of travelling through Georgia a couple of years ago… After having a puff of the ol’ peace pipe, some of us thought McDonalds was a great idea, so we stopped at one. Immediately stuck in a long line, the guy taking orders was complaining loudly about having to work on his day off, because others were at a fellow employee’s FUNERAL that day. «I’M NOTEVENSUPPOSEDTOBEHERETODAYBUTCODYDIEDANDEVERYONESATHISDANGFUNERAL». At the same time, the folks in front of us were having a delightful conversation… Husband: «MAN, McDonald’s is expensive these days». Wife: «Yeah, cuz of O-BAMA!». It was our friend Justin’s first time in Thee South. His mind exploded. The truck stop containing this Taco Bell also had an EXCELLENT selection if silly bullish** merchandise to look at, as well as a weird«truckers chapel» outside(see pics).
