I really do love this place. I was so surprised to find such a jem of truly authentic pieces in the middle of Amador co. I have spent some time in Scotland and fell in love with the culture. This place feels like home, with quality products and an owner that really knows what he’s doing. Friendly and professional– hard to beat.

This is your one stop shopping location for all things Irish, owned by a family that is authentic and knows it’s stuff. Great selection, wonderful service and the only place I know if in the region where I can get the fantastic Irish teas that I’ve come to rely on. If all you’ve had is Lipton, in the way of basic tea, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Real Irish tea, Barry’s is my favorite, what a great beverag, with or without milk or lemon. Try it, either the breakfast or afternoon tea. You’ll love it, and the owner seems like a lovely man, and he sometimes wears a kilt.

I’ve been to my fair share of Irish Import shops and by far this one is the best. Usually an Irish import shop is littered with janky trinkets for tourists or people clinging to a heritage they know nothing about. The Celtic Knot offers those of you looking for imports(Irish, Scottish, Welsh) a high quality of good to choose from. Hand knitted sweaters, china, wall décor, rugby shirts, BEAUTIFUL jewlery, and food are just a short list of what this store has to offer. If you find yourself on a wine tasting trip, or going to the Jackson Casino I’d suggest you take a short detour to check out this shop.
