I knew there was a reason I was holding off on coming here… because now I can’t stop myself!!! The owner is attentive to everyone, very patient, a hoot to chat with, and knows her products and her customers, well. She does an awesome job at balancing the ringing up of sales, helping people find what they need, as well as gently guiding a new knitter with a tricky stitch… over and over! ;D The store is clean, spacious and well organized. There’s loads of unusual beads, buttons and vintage finds, as well as the handy and necessary basics for all types of beading. There are gorgeous yarns too; but, I’m not a knitter so all I can say about that is, there’s lots of neat muted, or variegated yarns that are scrumptious to drool over. I’d much rather shop local and support this wonderful owner’s nifty place, than deal with the big-box type craft store across the highway. Don’t hesitate… she’s open past the usual 5pm AND open seven days a week. Kinda hard to find both those qualities in downtown Jackson!

This store has a very great selection of glass beads. They are a little bit expensive but there isn’t really a lot of options nearby other than Walmart and I would rather support small local businesses. They offer classes also which is really cool.

I too love the service and selection at this great little bead and yarn shop. They have helped me over the years with so many projects, and have never failed to find the solutions to my crafting difficulties, or to show the way to learn a new method of making something. They also have some very cool classes, and handmade stuff that is for sale, as well as the supplies. We’re lucky to have them, on a Main Street that has seen so many failures and desertions. This place truly deserves and earns our business and, well, respect.
