I got my nose pierced here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The process was so easy and painless except for when he actually did the piercing! Everything is so sanitary and the piercer made me feel extremely comfortable.

I went in 2 days days ago to get my daith pierced. Cody was fantastic! Definitely my go to guy! Everybody there was totally chill, very nice people. Very sterile process, the MOST sterile I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Love, loved him– he’ll definitely be doing my next tattoo! :) :) highly recommend this place and him!

I love getting my dermal changed here. The piercibng srtist is very professional and very friendly. I did not receive the actual piercing here, but I always go here when it’s time to change it out. I love their small clothing store too. Perfect for any local beach gal :-)

I’ll preface this with Caribbean Connection is not normally my style. However, I asked my tattoo artist who she knows that would do the specific piercing I was looking at. She told me Cody Shores. I went in, talked to Cody. I was a nervous wreck. I had thought about this piercing for many many months and I had ALOT of questions. He was super super gentle, very concerned after the fact, and had no problem answering all of my questions. He has the patience of a saint. I got my piercing last Thursday (3÷5÷15) and I’ve called him seven times since then, and been in the store twice so he can look at it and tell me I’m delusional and that its not rejecting. And every time I call or go in, he’s very reassuring, and sweet. Turns out he used to pierce at the shop I used to go to for tattoos, (he even tried to fix my jacked up nose piercing once) I don’t pierce often, but I’m so glad I found Cody to do my future piercings, should the occasion arise!

I was recommended here by a very close friend so I took her word, and I’m glad I did.
I had watched millions of videos, read facts about getting my septum pierced and totally psyched myself out about it. But, the anxiety didn’t hit until I pulled up to the shop and walked through the door.
I immediately became clammy, hands sweating and nervous as ever! But, when I called and talked to my piercer on the phone I liked our vibe so I came.
CODY SHORES is nice and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. He said the initial clamps would be the part that hurt the most, but for me it was putting the ring in. He was gentle with me, and very understanding. Even after I stopped him on more then a couple occasions to ask frivolous questions.
I would recommend this place to anybody wanting a tattoo, piercing, cool shoes, socks or accessories.
I usually feel out of place, maybe even a bit awkward but not with any of them!

Love the store, the girl who was working not so much. Went in with my two kids to buy some stuff & look around. The girl who was working followed us through the whole store, I guess she thought I was going to steal. She made my daughter & I very uncomfortable standing over our shoulder. She even took the stuff out of my hands I was going to buy & said I will hold this for you. Didn’t even ask me. I wanted to buy more but she wouldn’t get the heck out of my way. Well I got news for her, I Would Not Steal At All, & Especially with my two children there. I’m a RN, I don’t need to steal. I’ve been going to that shop probably since she was in kindergarten. Here’s a tip «get some cameras, so you don’t have to watch the customers like a hawk & follow them like a lost puppy». Next time she’ll get a piece of my mind!

Carribbean Connection is a Jax Beach staple. This surf, skate, tattoo, piercing, clothing, and Ticketmaster purveyor is popular with a wide range of patrons and it shows in their small but eclectic selection of merchandise. On any given trip to C.C. you could leave with a pair of Vans, a new bauble for your belly ring, some incense, sleep shorts, and tickets to an upcoming concert. A lot of their gear is your typical, over-​priced surf swag, but they offset this by sprinkling in more reasonably priced items and brands. As a noted jewelry addict, I found their selection of charms and dangles to be quite diverse for a surf/​skate shop. The staff is friendly and conversational, and they seem genuinely interested in informing customers about their merchandise and any deals going on. The last time I stopped in, Aaron helped me out, and he was just a straight-​up awesome guy. It makes a shopping experience so enjoyable when you feel truly welcomed and engaged by the staff. (But not pestered to buy anything!) All around this is a cool, little spot.

I’ll be honest and say that CC isn’t really my style. I generally go because they have a ticketmaster outlet. When I have gone in to buy though I’ve found their selection and prices to be excellent.
By far the best thing about this place though is their people. Seriously some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. When I’ve been looking for sunglasses or shoes (only 2 things I’ve ever bought here other than tickets), they really seemed to have a good eye for what looked good and were very polite and helpful.
As I said, I usually come for event tickets because it seems you have a better shot getting good seats here than by going online. They don’t open until 10, but when the employees find you waiting outside the door early, they open quickly to let you in a few minutes before tickets go on sale so they have the best shot at getting you great seats.

Well lit, friendly staff.
I was happier with the old location (right next door) w/​2 floors and a pipe shop.
Tattoo and piercing in a clean calm atmosphere where privacy is givin’.
It WAS a great place to find hard to find shoes and clothing but NOW it switched to more less T-​shirts and crocs shoes.
More –less trendy stickers and T’s.
Awesome selection of body jewelery and good tattoo artist from local areas.
Cool hammocks and swing chairs in the summer time on the outside deck, on display, you can chill in (test out).
Get concert tickets there as well.
Not bad — I DO STILL miss the old C.C. but times change and no more «glass back room» or hard to find clothing.
I have gotten pierced there 2xs and had friends get tattoos and piercings there as well. CLEAN and professional.
A-​OK place been around for a long time.
LOW cars will have an issue parking in lot but there is store front street parking.
