Are you looking for a dark, quiet watering hole in Jacksonville? If so, this is your place. Adit is tiny, but incredibly friendly and the bartenders are always lively and fun and happy to chat about beers. There is no food here, just beer and local wines at a reasonable price. I love their fridges converted into keg taps! Very creative and funky. We stop here often for a drink when waiting on a table at Thai House around the corner and always enjoy our time here.

A fun little«hole in the wall» place(literally – it’s tucked in between other business in a cozy little interior section of an historic building). Reasonably priced, and a decent selection of beers and wine, mostly craft selections from the West Coast and some local favorites as well. Super friendly staff, and the customers are all friendly too! A real locals spot that is not in any way pretentious. Bugsy recommends you raise a pint!

Adit adds beers that are not popular around the close proximity of the bar. Joe is the man!

This place rocks! Great beer on rotation, and always a friendly bar keep. At least 9 decent beers on tap from custom made kegorators, very cool! I love meeting my bf here after he’s done with a long mt bike ride up diabolical. There seems to be a lot of mt bikers that swing by here and Adit has some awesome local art that features the sport. I noticed that they do have a large verity of wines too. I will defiantly support these guys and look forward to my next visit.

We stopped here first after a 7 hour drive from California and we greeted by friendly bartenders and guests. The beer was fresh, cold and fairly priced. The ambience made us glad to be back in Oregon and Jacksonville in particular. We will definitely return and recommend others try it out!

I have only been here once(so far) but was impressed with the place. It has just recently opened so I am sure they are trying to work out the bugs of a new business, but you wouldn’t be able to tell. The service, atmosphere, beer and wine selection and visitors were all great. The music selection is unlike most other locations and tastefully chosen, but not at all loud. It is very easy to hear the person across the table from you and still enjoy the tunes. There is no food service as of yet, but I have heard that they are working on that development. You are able to bring in outside food if you want it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some craft brews.

The Adit! When you walk in, you know this place has soul! Like the namesake for the Adit, once thru the doors, there are riches waiting a little farther in. Quality craft beer(not the standard issues) and house wine that is just fantastic. The place was packed, and we were easily able to get service within a minute of entry, as they had both bar and table service. 4 table tops with elevated seating allows a great view of the room, without sacrifice. The Bar top is very cool, and the taps are unique to say the least. Old mid-century refrigerators turned kegerators! Very clever touch. Staff is awesome and very in tune with what is great, and what is merely good. I can assure you of this, what is great, is what is served. Perfect spot for a Britt primer, or a date night glass of wine. The location is situated near 2 restaurants, and several boutiques. This spot brings the historic Jacksonville feel, but is true to itself. No pretenses here! Well done. Will surely be back to the Adit to see what riches are hidden inside!

With much anticipation, this local craft & wine bar opened June 8th next to Britt in Jacksonville, Oregon. This cozy & comfortable public house is owned and operated by 3 locals with decades of beer/wine/bar experience. Joe & Luke provide friendly and attentive service behind the bar. The ambiance of the Adit Public House is just what Jacksonville needed — it’s nice to have a conversation with the person next to you and not have to shout over loud music and rowdy tequila drinkers. There’s an always changing beer/wine menu currently serving 7 handles of hard to find beers and multiple bottles of private label wines. I enjoyed the Manny’s Pale Ale & Descender IPA serviced in ice cold pint glasses. There’s Pabst on tap & Hamms, Rainier in cans for those not into the micro brews. The addition of local foods is in the works, but I found it cool that you can order off the menus of nearby restaurants and eat here. If your a beer & wine lover, the Adit Public House is a must visit when in Jacksonville, Oregon for a Britt concert. The place fills up quickly, so I recommend arriving early.
