This place Is AWESOME if you enjoy kayaking or canoeing. Be prepared for a loooong paddle if you do decide to go to Clark’s Fish Camp. It was about a 4 hr. paddle to where the Julington creek meets Durbin Creek. Needless to say at which point we turned around and headed back as it was getting dark. **Bring bug spray as the Mosquitos were relentless the last hour paddle back, It seemed that when we stopped they caught right up to us. Overall though it was an extremely calm and quiet paddle. Seen lots of turtles and a few water snakes. The is in a couple spots, trees in the creek you my have to navigate around. Not much boat traffic either and when there is they give you a lot of room and slow down for you. The boat launch area is very small with just enough room to turn your vehicle around. When it’s real busy count on parkIng your vehicle on either side of the two-trek road. There is a little map there do you can plan out your trip and notes the creek mileage. Now get out there and have some FUN enjoying mother nature at her best!!!
