Incredible discounts this weekend, although much of the time the pricing is higher than other local department stores.

I’m an inveterate shopper who follows this rule of thumb: «there’s nothing like a good bargain, but whether you’re getting a discount or not you’ve got to love it. If you don’t love it, walk away.» I think this rule is the one of two factors that keeps me from being a hoarder; the other is my ability to purge from season to season. But I digress.
Being new to life in Jacksonville and seeing the crowds of gorgeous ladies in cute shorts, sun dresses and effervescent blouses, I quickly realized how much I under packed. I was happy to find Beall’s, a deep rooted long established Florida department store chain. This branch was conveniently located right next to my local Walmart. The apparel and accessories selection was actually really cute, meeting the high standards of any fashionista. The shorts fit right and provided «lift» in all the right places. You may recognize brands like Oneill, Salt Life, XOXO, Roxy, Converse, etc. Gators and GA Bulldogs fans can also find cute activewear to show their spirit. (To my fellow Chicagoans, Beall’s reminds me a little of the now extinct Carson Pirie Scott on State Street — without the landmark Sullivan architecture.)
I did some real damage finding several cute outfits and basics, but without putting a dent in the wallet. In fact, unknowingly I saved about a third of what I thought I was paying. Also, if you get the local paper or sign up online there are typically 15%off coupons that will help you achieve your beach-​on-​a-​budget lifestyle. Thanks Beall’s.

Help sucks need to be friendly, or at least make an effort to try.
