We are split between layer cakes and cupcakes in our family! Camicakes has the solution with their cakes which come in all their cupcake flavors! Tried the coconut pineapple, moist and delicious! Would definitely recommend and we’ll go back again. Staff was friendly and professional.

Terrible! They were dry and tasteless. We threw them in the garbage. Never again. We were so excited to have supposes gourmet cupcakes. They were dry on top and around the sides. Until you get to the bottom middle where all of the I guess flavor and I use the term lightly, was pulled up at the bottom in a wet sloppy gross tasting mess. So disappointing to spend that kind of money and be greeted by a snotty rude old lady and sold the worst cupcakes I’ve ever had. I will never recommend CamiCakes or go back.

This is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth before you head to the movies next door so you won’t be tempted to buy over priced candy. The minis are just $ 1.50& the Red Velvet mini really hit the spot. Although sweeter than my usual cupcakery, the cupcakes I experienced were pretty moist and had a nice amount of butter cream frosting. If you like a lot of sweet frosting, this is definitely your place. They offer fun flavors like: CinnaSwirl, PB&J, Red Velvet, Chocolate Raspberry Almond Cream, Sweet Potato, Cami Sweetheart with Butter Cream and so much more. Service was polite and attentive. The inside of the store was clean and organized. There’s a few tables and chairs to sit at to enjoy your goodies. The prices are located on the wall above the stacks of pink boxes($ 1.50& $ 3.00) for the two sizes of cupcakes offered here. The only downside is that the cupcakes would have been better enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee & although I saw a coffee pot behind the counter, there was none brewed or available for the customers. And although there are bottled beverages available, CamiCakes is definitely something to try, but you may have to bring your own Joe.

The store is very cute and bright with a wall of pink boxes right when you walk in. There is a really wide range of flavors from the classic Red Velvet(their most popular) to the more eccentric sweet potato. I chose the red velvet cupcake. It is decently sized for the $ 3 price tag. The decorations were very pretty and simple. The frosting was not too sweet and if you are a frosting lover there is more than enough for you. As for the cupcake, it was moist and dense. However, I was turned off by how much oil there was. My liner had so much that when I went to take it off my cupcake, my fingers were coated with oil.

Holy sh! t!!! That was a delicious cupcake! I had never tried a camicake cupcake before and I have been missing out! Heavy, dense, moist, great flavor… and that’s just the cake part… the frosting was creamy and not terribly sweet(even though I wiped off most of it and just ate a lil, I just not a big frosting person) Hours later and I’m still thinking«that was a good dang cupcake!» Yes I’ll go back anytime I’m close, screw the diet!!!

I love cake and have a weakness for bakery goods. Cami cakes cupcakes are by far the BEST cupcakes I’ve ever eaten anywhere. The cake itself is super moist and the frosting is addictive. By far my favorite«cheat food» in any food group.

I got a toasted pineapple coconut cupcake last night. First of all, the service was great, the store was clean, and the display adorable. I really had a good experience at CamiCakes. Why three stars? I found the frosting to be way too heavy — it overpowered the cake. The cake itself was great: moist, good flavors, yet held together. It might have just been the frosting of this particular cupcake that I had, but I was pretty let down by the frosting. I would come back if I were in the area to try a different flavor, but I was a little disappointed with the balance of cake to frosting :(

Cupcakes were delicious. I got the chocolate/peanut butter one. This was the first chocolate cupcake that I have had that was moist. Typically they are dryer that a yellow or white cake. I would have given them five stars but the server was too busy yapping it up with is home boy and ignored us for about five minutes while he finished socializing. He also looked a little sketchy and disheveled. Overall — worth the calories for a special cheat treat.

Carrot cake cupcake was seriously dope, super moist. If you buy a dozen, you get a discount. About 20 flavors to choose from: strawberries and cream, peanut butter, blueberry, key lime, red velvet, coconut macadamia, banana cream, et al. Personable customer service.

I went in expecting a lot of cup cakes and maybe some other things. Nope, wrong, ain’t happen chum. This is cup cake world and you are now slap in the middle of it. So the fat kid inside me went wacko crazy wanting this one and that one and no no that one over there. I settled with the chocolate i don’t know but it was really dark and chocolatey with some white stuff wrote on it. It didn’t last long once inside the car. Chocolate heaven with some ooey gooey stuff inside. I needed a box of napkins before I was driving away. I went at it like a herd of well we will leave it there. It was good, yummy, delish, and all kinds of other words. Now I might stop back in when I’m craving again. But, until then I will just sit back and dream.

Maybe I’m cranky but $ 3.50 for a cupcake better blow mind. I did like the plethora of favors they had available. I can only assume the cupcake tasted as good as it looked because my daughter devoured it in less time it took for me to pay for it. It must’ve been wonderful judging by how fast she ate it and how there was nary a crumb left for me to taste.

I’ve only tried the black and white so far. The cake was delicious and moist. the frosting not so great. I understand that it’s BUTTERcream, but when it tastes like I got a huge dollop of just butter on top of my cupcake.yuck. I had to scrape like 75% of the frosting off to kind of balance it out with the cake.

Came here to see what all the hype was about I was in Jacksonville on spring break visiting a Sorority sister saw the restaurant And stopped in. The The cupcake shop had a lot of flavors but not as many as I thought they would have. The price per cupcake is a little bit higher than I expected in comparison to other cupcake shops. They also sold the miniature cupcakes but you can only buy that if you bought a pack of 17 which I thought was crazy. I got a lemon drop cupcake which was good it was moisten flavorful as well to raspberry cupcake with was good as well just wish they had a larger selection

Quality, quality, quality! Camicakes cup cakes are ridiculously good! The frosting is cream cheese based which really compliments the sweetness of the perfectly baked cup cake. I tried out all their cup cakes and I must say all the each cup cake is perfectly made. Don’t go overboard with eating them though, the cup cakes are ridiculously rich. Simply version: The toppings, frosting, and cup cake perfectly compliment each other! AMAZINGCUPCAKES!

The BEST and ONLY cupcakes in North Florida 2 jacksonville locations Moist !!!(which is very important to me) The best red velvet Traditional and real red velvet not the fake food coloring or «chocolate cake version» Innovative flavors like sweet potato and Elvis –Banana, red velvet, sweet-potato, lemon and strawberry cheesecake are my favorites ! — eat them within two days because they will dry out — one is more than enough for one person — excellent frosting and garnishes by flavor — standard cupcake price — other locations offer minis and ice cream and whole cakes Check them out!!!

When presented with a box full of CamiCakes even the most steel willed dieters will crumble! I am also absolutely powerless to resist dancing when eating a Camicake or even thinking *about* the IDEA of eating one. I MUSTDANCE for CamiCakes! I have been an addict since they first opened in Orange Park and have had nearly all the flavors. My all time FAVORITE is their«Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream.» Peanut butter cream-cheese frosting on top of the greatest chocolate cake you’ve ever had! I distinctly remember my first cupastic experience in the mid 2000’s. I couldn’t shift my thoughts the next day to anything ELSE *except* that cupcake! «Is that cupcake filled with CRACK?!» I thought. Those obsessive urgings were soon satiated by my next hit of a peanut butter cupcake that SAME day! My lifelong addiction has started! The peanut butter cupcake taste can *only* be described as ‘Cosmic Pairing of Awesome!‘ Another favorite is the«Banana Cream.» The banana cake is moist and the frosting tastes like banana kissed clouds. Swoops of caramel are drizzled on top and its crowned with a banana chip. Along that same vein, «The Elvis» is also a winner with the combination of chocolate cake with peanut butter banana cream-cheese frosting and dusted with sea salt! One of the newest Camicakes is called the«Cami-Sweet Heart.» It resembles the gas station ‘Hostess Cupcake’ treat but instead of its decorative loops, the word«Cami» is written. This is the first FILLED cupcake CamiCakes has done in a Jacksonville monopolized market of Sweets by Holly. However, Sweets by Holly has an over-abundance of FROSTING(frosting inserted cake on top of a TOWERINGMASS of frosting) leaving you nearly nothing of the actual cake while being slapped across the FACE with sugar! Camicakes has the PERFECT proportions for filled cupcakes. The first bite of the«Cami Sweet Heart» sent me to bliss with its fudgy ganache topping, the buttercream center, and the deliciously dense chocolate cake. The angels SANG in the sky as I indulged! The only cupcake I do not care for is the«Classic Cami.» It’s yellow cake with pink frosting. It’s too ho-hum for me but ‘Plain Jane’ is what some people like. This chocoholic, however, will pass. I will readily admit that if I eat an entire Cupcake my stomach will scream in sugary revolt! However, since my husband is as addicted as I am, halving it is a wonderful way to keep our marriage strong(and my stomach pain free.) Find an excuse to DANCE and get a CamiCake today! [Warning: Consumption of Camicakes could result in a lifelong habit.]
