Charming Charlie – Jacksonville

everyone told me i needed to go to this store. well i have a cruise coming up and wanted some stuff to jazz up my evening wear so i finally went. and oh my god! i loved it. all color coordinated and pretty! there was also a great clearance section! ill totally be coming back here often!

Zero customer service in this store. I have been in there many times to look around with the intent to buy but I always leave unahppy. There is usually one or two people working and they sometimes act like you are bothering them when you ask a question. I always hope it’s going to get better but it never does so I won’t be back.

I pop in here quite often; nearly every time I find myself at The Avenues. I do more browsing around than I do purchasing though. They always have cute new items and I never really know what I may find, so I like to stop in just to have a quick looksee.
Probably the coolest thing about Charming Charlie is that everything is organized by colour. I just love this concept.
They sell some cute clothes here, but they are made for the skinny people. I am not one of those skinny people, so I avoid looking at the clothing. I stick to the accessories. They have purses, jewelry, hats, scarves, shoes, gloves, etc. They have really good prices on most all of their items too.
I do agree with what Kristina K had to say about the customer service. It is definitely lacking. If you need some help with something, good luck finding an employee (most of the time, that is).
If you have the perfect outfit and are looking to accessorize it, stop into this shop. I’m sure you’ll find the perfect items!

This is a really cute store with purses, jewelry, some clothes, etc. the prices are very reasonable and I love the setup (the store is divided by color rather than product type). Then store is generally clean and well kept but I’ve found the service can be lacking.

OH MY GOSH! Where does one even start!!! My Aunt Jan was in from Texas, so we decided we would take her over to the Avenues for some shopping. It has been a little while since I have been there, and I was so happy to see a few new stores. Charming Charlie was the first new store we saw. Just looking in the window, I knew I was about to fall in love. Crazy, addicted love. The kind of love that isn’t good for you haha. We walked in and one of the girls up front greeted us, and asked if we have ever been to a Charming Charlie before. I answered, «unfortunately no.» She explained that their store is color coordinated, so each color has its own designated area. So, there is pink, black, gold, green, blue, orange, yellow, etc. Each section has bags, jewelry, candles, apparel, etc. I was scared to look at prices because the store was just soooooo nice. But, I couldn’t resist. I was pleasantly surprised. The prices were pretty reasonable. My favorite thing in the store has to be the handbags and clutches. They are so adorable. And, I will be purchasing some from there for sure. My Aunt bought me a cupcake necklace because she knows cupcakes are ma thing =P mmhmm cupcakkkkessss. haha. Anyways, if you go to the Avenues EVER again, this is a store you MUST not leave without seeing. I wish I was in there right now. I asked one of the girls how long they have been open and she told me only a couple of weeks. I hope this store does awesome business because I will be devastated if it doesn’t succeed.
