I really think this is the best taproom in Jax. Cozy feel to it. And they have so many crazy and creative flavored beers here. I once had a cardamom beer. If you are interested in trying something unique instead of just a standard IPA, this is the place. Selections are always changing and I cannot wait until they open their new location downtown with the rooftop.

It is my goal to complete the JAX Ale Trail this summer! The first stop of the tour was at Intuition Ale Works. It was a little difficult to find as there isn’t really a sign and there’s just a door covered in stickers. However, the interior is very welcoming! I really enjoyed going to this microbrewery and I had the Kolsch that was on draft. I understand that this microbrewery is in the process of expanding and moving to a facility downtown and that they are in the process of transitioning operations downtown. The current location(at least) is dog friendly and is very comfy. I would recommend it!

Cool place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon or after dinner. Spacious seating areas with plenty of games to entertain your group. They have an extensive selection of brews. We had a flight of Lagers and Stouts, and although I’m not a Stouts gal, all their beers were delicious. Friendly staff and good ambience. I can’t wait to take another J-Ville trip and drop by Intuiton.

We came to the brewery for my cousin’s rehearsal dinner gathering. Good beer and wine was consumed by all(almost everyone). Garrett and Meg brought food in from Ale House. Good time was had by all. Great place to gather and meet up with some friends. Thanks for the invite.

Great brewery! I recently held an event at Intuition with my company and it was a big hit. Aside from the great beer selection and cool warehouse we hosted the event in, Lindsay and Riley were an absolutely breeze to work with. Super friendly people + awesome venue + delicious beer = great time!

Love the beers from this place! I recently had the Underdark 2016 and it was amazing! It’s one of my top three breweries in Jacksonville based on their high quality beers regardless of the style.

We came here at night and the surrounding area is not very well lit, the building is basically a stark warehouse complete with barbed wire, and the door to the taproom is not very well marked, no windows, and covered in stickers which doesnt reallt help you feel great about opening it up. All that said, once you work up the courage to go inside the taproom is very well lit, spacious, and welcoming. Staff was very friendly and informative, and there was a huge variety of beers, some of their standards they sell everywhere, and many i hadnt seen before. I had a belgian dubbel style beer and it was a very different flavor but very good. Im a big fan of all of the jax micro breweries, and intuition is no different, though the entry could use a nice sign and a light or two.

Great local brewery located in Riverside. Now, I’m not a beer drinker, but this is still a great little spot to come enjoy the company of friends. My hubby is a beer drinker, as are most of my friends. Hubby has tried quite a few of the beers here and he has enjoyed the all. His favourite was the Octoberfest beer they just recently had. Although, I’m not sure if that is an all year ’round beer or just one for the fall. I guess I should have asked! The bartenders here are also really friendly and all smiles. They certainly don’t mind when you strike up a conversation with them. And while I’m not a beer drinker, I still have to go to the bar to get my Coke and/or water. =) If you’re a beer drinker and from out of town, I definitely recommend a stop here on your trip. If you live in Jax and haven’t been here… what in the world are you waiting for?!

This is a great local business… Everyone is super friendly. Whether you’re having some beers with friends or there’s an event going on, this place is a great place to go. I’ve tried a few different beer here and liked them all… Although I can’t remember which ones… This place is worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Just coolness! A local brewery making killer beers, they have a great tap room where you can go chill at the bar, bring some friends and play some board games, maybe take a tour of the brewery and let them show you how they make this magical beer! Every beer we tried was delish! But the stand out was the tres brewha(?) gosh that was a good beer! Keep your eyes peeled cause It’s easy to miss this place right off King St.

of all the breweries that i visited on the jax ale trail, this one has the best beers i think. i also enjoy it at home on occasion(i love jon boat).but there is something to be said for this location. its hard to find. the door is covered in stickers, making you think there might be a secret pass word. its small but has enough space that youre not sitting too close to people. the staff was AWESOME. joking with us, answering questions ect and we enjoyed all the beers in our flights! IAW has all the things i look for in a fun place to go with friends to drink a few and have some laughs

I love this locally owned and operated business. Don’t drink so I can’t speak to the quality or even the taste of any of the beers. I have been here many times for a variety of different events. The business it’s self is community oriented and always steps up to host events. The most recent benefit for Daniel Rowe, the Blind Rabbit employee that was murdered while emptying the trash. We are always happy to attend anything going on here. Sweet space, very comfortable. One suggestion, please get a water cooler for those of us who don’t drink beer, cold water is much tastier than room temperature water!

I’ve been a fan of Intuition’s product for a while now, so it was nice to finally check out their tap room and soak in the brews and views. Newcomers, there’s a good possibility you’ll drive past this place. It blends right in along with the surrounding homes. But the warehouse space is large, filled with fermenters and all the brew house staples. Unilocal Jax’s supreme leader(and my admirable boss), Allie A, showed us the ropes of the exact location of the tap room. Behind a small door cluttered with stickers immediately to the left. Good luck. Beer. On a summer day, stick with the basics. They make them really well. The I-10IPA and People’s Pale Ale are both crisp, refreshing and über drinkable. The aroma from the I-10 is killer, and really packs a hoppy punch. As for the People’s Pale, it’ll cure everything from your sweat to your stress in no time. From an outside perspective, it seems like these guys and gals do a phenomenal job playing a part in their community. Bringing people together is what it’s all about. The sense of community here at Intuition was simply a fantastic experience for me. Intuition Ale Works. Yes, it certainly does.

I love craft beer! This place has a great selection of beer. My favorite is their King Street Stout. Wish they were located cliser to me but oh well. Pet friendly can order food in. Super casual. Love it!

I love Intuition as a place to go with a couple of friends and drink all the drinky drinks. It’s just within walking distance of my apartment — close enough so I can avoid the terrible parking lot, but far enough that I feel like I’ve earned the beer once I get there. :) And oh, the beer. There’s all the regulars(Jon Boat, I-10, King St.) if you just need a comfort drink, but then they also have a dozen other beers to try that change every time I’m there. I can never remember the names, but I’ve had good experiences with rye beer, Belgian tripels, fruity things, and stouts that I never would have tried otherwise. Remember: the sample is your friend! The prices are quite reasonable, too, and sometimes surprisingly low for the amount of alcohol(glass size and ABV) that you get. If you get hungry, well, there’s no food on site, but the bartenders will happily hand you a stack of take-out menus for places nearby that either deliver or that you can quickly walk to and then return to your beer. You can also bring in your own food, if you have that kind of foresight and planning capability! If you get bored and/or drunk enough, there are a variety of board games available in the back, including my new favorite, the Trivial Pursuit 80’s edition. It is(un)surprisingly difficult to answer trivia questions from a decade you only lived through half of… To sum up: Good beer, good vibes, good place for good friends.

LOVE this place. Has a beer for everyone. If you love lager, try the Jon Boat — -very close in taste. My favorites are the Easy on the Eyes and the Equality brews :) enjoy the outdoors or play a board game inside.

Two of us stopped in to check out their IPAs. Excellent:! Arriving is a bit of a challenge, however. There is not a single sign to let a prospective patron know where the place is, and once you have found it, what door to use to enter. We had to make a phone call. We parked in deep water in the parking lot and walked through the water to the«door with all the stickers on it,» as instructed by the employee on the phone. So, here’s the secret folks … If it’s wet outside you may need boots to get inside because the parking area is not maintained at all and you will want to find the«door with all the stickers on it» to enter!

I have purposely *not* written a review about Intuition for purely selfish reasons. You see, I don’t want the word getting out with how wonderful this establishment is and having EVERYONE crowdin when it’s *my* secret hideaway. BUT, the service and beer are BEYOND amazing and I cannot remain silent any longer. If you drive by the abandoned-looking building before the train tracks on King Street, you will have found it! And if you *find* it, you probably won’t know where to enter. And if you figure out where the door is, you will probably think its closed because of how abandoned it looks. But fear not! They’re open(except for Sundays.) The door is on the LEFT side of the building behind the gated partition. Once inside, you have a cozy area with wooden benches to socialize, a wall of board games to choose from, and an intimate setting to relish their beer. I love getting Intuition’s flights of beer because I just can’t DECIDE which beer to choose! My favorites are: *Underdark: «Imperial stout aged for 8 months in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels.»(Only available at special times throughout the year.) *Honey Badger: «Aggressive hops upfront, with a lingering bitter sweetness from honeyed malts gives this tasty brew true honey badger swagger.» *Truck Stop Breakfast Stout: «Breakfast stout brewed with pure maple syrup, smoked malt and locally-roasted Bold Bean coffee.» *Redman: «A crisp, rich Irish Red ale, brewed for St. Patrick’s Day.» King Street: «Imperial stout brewed with two-row malted barley and a variety of roasted and caramel malts.»(Available ALL the time!) There is no food available at Intuition but they DO allow outside food inside. My girlfriend was ravenous from a long day of work so I inquired about take out menus from the bartender Riley. He quickly handed me a booklet containing lots of take out menus from restaurants nearby. Riley then mentioned, «Oh! And just so you know, Blind Rabbit just opened up across the street *AND* they deliver!!!» If sharing a flight of DELICIOUS beer with a girlfriend isn’t enjoyable enough — drinking beer while ALSO eating the greatest burger EVER makes the night one you can’t forget! The cherry on top was when Riley offered us FREE cupcakes from Sweet Theory Baking Co. Uhhhhh you have just made me a fan for LIFE now! Thanks Intuition!!! Seasonally they also have trivia and the top three winners get a gift card! Team«Beef and Spice» represent!!!

I love Intuition. Everything about it. The hard to spot location, the locals sitting at the bar, how you can bring in your dinner and enjoy a brew or two. Causal drinking at it’s(Jacksonville) finest! You can’t beat a People’s Pale in the heat of summer… and Adam loves the Jon Boat for a lighter option. Also fans of the Salon Saison, Rye IPA, I-10, Truck Stop Breakfast Stout(delish!) and the seriously fantastic Underdark. I thought I was up for a Liver Kick… lol, but it kicked back ;) Definitely check out one of these local brews when you are out and about… but don’t forget to stop by the taproom… bring in a few bites, and enjoy.

We stopped in here before heading to one of our friends weddings a couple weeks ago. I thought it was cool that they had all females working. usually in breweries it’s males. and they had a beer brewed by the ladies of Intuition Ale Works. They had a huge selection of beers, and a lot of IPAs which Brandon of course was a huge fan of. They also had beer pops, where they made popsicles with beer and a fruit flavor… i’ve never even heard of that before. The sticker covered door is indeed the door in, we were the weirdos in the parking lot like… do you think that’s the door? how do we get in? lol Very chill environment and great selection of beer.
