My wife and I each got giant Super Subs. They were great. Very friendly staff. Very clean. We had enough left to bring some home for the kids. Will go to this location again.

If you make a square around I-95, Baymeadows, Philips, and JTB, you’ve carved an area with a lot of businesses and a ton of hungry people around lunchtime. Most of the places are fast food joints or sub-par casual places. There are five sandwich shops in the area, however — Jimmy John’s, Ancient City, Firehouse, Larry’s, and Jersey Mike’s. I have given Larry’s so many shots in the last 20 years but their hot subs are always soggy messes. Jimmy John’s is bland and doesn’t have hot subs but they are fast. Firehouse has some great hot subs and they all have a very distinct flavor(especially with the hot sauces), but I reserve Firehouse for when I’m depressed and want to abuse myself with an especially messy but delightfully gooey large Engineer sub. Ancient City is owned by a guy who has been in the biz forever and used to have an excellent Quizno’s(that should tell you something) over on Beach Blvd. It is my second favorite of the five and has a home style feel. Jersey Mike’s. How I wanted to hate you. A chain with the balls to move in next door to a local. But damn. I have been here about 20 times and they are fast, even at lunch, polite, and the bread tastes fresh and doesn’t get soggy. I have only had hot subs and they are really great. The sauce is great, the meat doesn’t taste gross. The most faithful comparison I can make is to a hot Publix sub, and that is a crowning achievement. I’m not sure how it could get any better for the price. You’re going to spend the same amount at any of the other places in this area for worse food and more for anything close to this level of quality. I’m really happy they opened a spot here!

Staff was very friendly. I ordered the the number 43 which is the Philly steak and cheese with chipotle sauce and peppers. The sub was good but it was so watery. It was leaking every where. I order from jersey mikes all the time, and I’ve never had it that soggy before. I understand it is a hot sandwich. But not a soggy sandwich. I do still love jersey mikes and will keep going.

I love Jersey Mikes, and this location is perfect and so close to my job. The staff is very friendly! I went twice and they already remembered me and knew me by name. The sand which is always done perfect. And as I already mentioned the staff is amazing!

Just like every other jersey mikes I’ve been to, which is exactly how it should be. I have not eaten at a firehouse since I found out about jersey mikes! This place is pretty much always busy though so avoid 12 – 1 unless you don’t mind waiting in a line that wraps around the place.

This was my first visit to Jersey Mikes. Ordered a mini Italian and it was delicious and filling. So glad they are at this location, I work in South Point and had enough time to sit and enjoy my sandwich, then run quick errands during lunch. Very friendly staff. I will be a regular customer.

Place just opened, staff was super friendly and well run. We got a turkey and an Italian sub, both very good with plenty of meat. You can get a sub anywhere but I like that the owner and staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. Great location, looks like a brand new building. And they have catering options!
