KFC

KFC is, well just good old greasy fast food chicken. I used to love Kentucky Fried Chicken when I was younger but the last few times I gave it a try I could not really enjoy it. The chicken is fried too much leaving the chicken rather dry but somehow still a bit too oily. On a positive note, the biscuits are light and fluffy and actually really good, and the coleslaw is still my favorite coleslaw from a fast food restaurant. I have not been to a KFC in years but was recently drawn back to try the Nashville Hot Chicken. After visiting Nashville last year and trying the hot chicken several times in one trip, I was curious to see if it stands up to what I loved up there. Not even close. I could not even finish one piece. Tasted like KFC chicken with way too much extra oil and a lot of spice, but the hot was yet somehow not the right flavor of hot. It was a greasy mess and if I was rating this product alone it would be 1 star, but the good biscuit and quick friendly service redeemed enough to give this fast food place a couple of extra stars.

Always has good food and great service. I love coming here when I’m craving some chicken.

This is mainly to thank the thoughtful ladies. At the drive-​thru today (around 145pm) for including a free cookie with my meal. Probably because I was behind some guy to took an order for about 50 people it seemed like, seriously take it inside.
Anyways, it was a nice surprise that I just saw in my bag and it brightened up my day. Thanks guys!
