Small hole in the wall restaurant. Went with my Korean friend. We waited an hour to get appetizers. The food was inauthentic and bland. Wait staff seemed apathetic. Look elsewhere if you want an authentic Korean experience because this place will disappoint you, that is if they even serve you within an hour.

The owners make this place shine. The atmosphere is that of an old-school fast food restaurant, so it could be improved. The food is good, but the service was exceptional. The owners made the meal special, and I wish them the very best. Thanks for your service in our military, and I hope this small restaurant thrives.

I lived in Korea for 2 years and this was the closest to authentic restaurant I have found around here! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the yakimaandoo(fried dumplings)

Highly recommend the Kimchi N Bulgogi House. We were in Jacksonville visiting family and had a hankering for some Korean food. We ordered several fried rice dishes, the Bulgogi BeeBimBop and Bulgogi along with some other appetizers. Our order was to go but while we waited for our meal the impression of the restaurant was that it was small but very clean and he staff were friendly. The food was absolutely wonderful and on par with some of the best Korean meals I’ve had both in the states and in Korea. Everything tastes fresh and appeared to be made from quality produce and meats. The Bulgogi was nicely marinated and flavored. Similar opinions were shared by my wife and in-laws. So if you’re in Jacksonville or passing through I ask you give this place a try. My impression is that they are a mom and pop business and are in need of more business. We will certainly be back next time we’re visiting.

I can honestly say that this was the best Korean food around j drove for 3 hours looking for good food and boy I didn’t waste any of my time. I came with 2 others. We got the ribs and the off menu bulgogi combo and it was fantastic and my other friend got the seafood soup. He said he deeply enjoy the flavor. The beef we had was tender and nice and the side was excellent. The staff and customer service was 10⁄1 would drive again to eat it again

Tried the gimbap(Korean sushi), it was good. There were fish cakes, carrots, spinach and other pickled veggies in it. Will have to try their spicy sticky rice cake next time!

Really great food! Small family run place, everyone was very nice. Got the spicy pork bibimbap 3⁄5 spicey. Eating the kimchi at the bar makes me reminice of the times I sat at the same bar and drank beer when it was High Tide. Hopefully this place ends up getting a licesnse to serve alcohol. Can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

Great service. We ate family style and all 4 entrees we ordered were delicious. The owner/cook came out and personally made sure we enjoyed our meal.

Hands down the best restaurant in Jacksonville! My husband is Korean and has claimed this place as his go-to restaurant whenever the subject of eating out is brought up. The owner is a gem and comes to visit our table and chat with us every time we visit. We are on the fast track to becoming regulars, and for good reason! If you are looking for a huge meal for a great price I highly recommend the Seafood Noodle Soup, it comes in a massive bowl and tastes absolutely delicious! Another favorite is the Kimchi Pancake with beef, another huge portion with phenomenal flavor(I would recommend getting this one with a level 1 or 2 spiciness as it brings out the flavor beautifully).

Oh boy, I loved this little place. They have all the great traditional Korean dishes. The food is hearty, very fresh and tasty. Make sure you don’t leave without trying the egg rolls, they put all others to shame. We had the pleasure of meeting Grace, the owner, and she is super nice!

Me and my friends went there the other day. The food taste OK just a little bit overpriced. If you can give little more amount food and drop the price that will be good

We are visiting from the SF bay area and love Korean food. We were thrilled to find this place and the food was fantastic. We had the bibimbap and spicy seafood noodle soup and the kimchi was some of the best I’ve had. The owners make it themselves and they sell it to go so we had to take some with us. The menus posted here look they are still correct.

Our first time here. We heard about it from a friend and decided to give it a try. We wish we would have gone sooner because everything was delicious. You could tell it was homemade and fresh. Service was prompt and staff was very friendly and made sure to answer all of our questions. The owner even stepped out of the kitchen and made sure everything was ok. We will definitely come back!

YUM! Outstanding experience! The chef does special orders for dishes not on the menu and the owners make an effort to personally meet you! It feels like you’re at your korean moms house. In addition to the great service, the food is off the charts delicious! Good vibes, vet owned, and totally satisfied!

A bit expensive, but the food is simply amazing. So glad to have an actual Korean restaurant in Jacksonville! Staff is super friendly and kind. The woman in the kitchen brought the extra chicken she cooked or to my sister just because she made too much– at no extra charge! Wonderful experience and flavorful food, I will definitely be back!

Wowsers. Craved for Korean cuisine and Hit the jackpot at this spot. Generous portions of side dishes, bulgogi, Kalbi and rice. Owned by Marine veteran and his Korean wife. Adjima personally prepared the scrumptious entrees and visited us after our meal to ensure her cooking surpassed the competition. Graciously complimented the food, décor and cleanliness of this above average Korean spot located in a strip mall.

Great food, but extremely pricey. I would recommend coming for lunch for their lunch specials. The japchae/jabchae was not that great to be honest. I was quite shocked to know the cook/owner was Korean. The food is definitely Americanized. However, amazing kimchi! It is also for sale! I’ll come back again to check our their bibimbaps!

On our fourth attempt we were finally able to get in. The first try was day two after opening, and they had run out of food(a good sign). We then tried to go back the next day, but they were closed(Sunday). The next attempt was Wednesday, which is another day that they’re closed. BUT we were finally able to get get in on a Thursday, and the food was great. The sides were brought out early, and the kimchi was home-made great — just like my mom used to make(but better). The kalbi was delicious. I wasn’t so impressed by the bulgogi, but it was good enough to try again. It has to be said that they don’t serve liquor/beer, and I hope that’s something being worked on; a nice soju would have gone very well with dinner. Service was also incredibly friendly and prompt — I missed your name, but you were great! I’ll definitely be back.

Great food! My goal is to try everything on the menu. The Korean ice cream you get with ordering a large meal is amazing! I recommend the restaurant to everyone.

It’s great to finally have a Korean restaurant in Jacksonville. Kimchi N Bulgogi just opened up. It’s a small restaurant that can fill up quickly. The menu is pretty simple Kalbi, Bulgogi, Chicken and some appetizers. You get several kimchi and sides, a coffee or tea, and a ice cream bar with your dinner entrée. The spice heat is very mild for Korean food but they are more than willing to turn it up on request.
