I went in for glasses and contacts with an eye appointment. First they told me they could not fit my lenses (gas permeable) but the attendant and doctor were very nice and even went to the trouble to find a doctor who could fit my lenses. The doctor was very knowledgeable and professional. I did do the buy one get one free deal. It should be noted… that’s for the frames only. My super thick lenses meant that while my two frames were $ 99, I walked out owing $ 320. And any add ons to your lenses can be customized per pair (so keep that in mind). The doctor visit was free with purchase of the frames, so overall a great deal.

I want in for an eye exam. The exam was very thorough my sunglasses arrived early. My glasses came in right when they did they would. I went to SAMs club my script was way off could not even read the computer. Now I’m all set. Thank you eye lab

Meghan helped me a few weeks ago to order my 2 pair of glasses and a pair of prescription sun glasses. I want to say that she has the best customer service I have ever encountered. She helped me find amazing glasses, went out of her way to find what worked for me. When I went to pick up the glasses she made sure they were perfect and treated me so well. I loved seeing her smiling face when I went back to get my glasses. Today, I went in to have Christina, the general manager, to help me reorder and adjust my sunglasses. She was awesome, helpful and so kind to me. Thank you for having people who know amazing customer service skills. Thank you so much! Loreen Atkinson

Staff was fine, quite happy with them, glasses were done quickly. But, STOP CALLING ME. I keep getting calls from 888 998 3930, which immediately disconnect after pick-​up. I called back, someone greeted me as being from ‘Stanton Optical’. I said, «Hi, who is this? Someone from this number keeps calling and hanging up». Then they hung up on me without another word.

This place is horrible! Staff is very rude and disrespectful but if you really can’t afford to go anywhere else then this is the place for you but to bad they sense that and treat you like carp!

Had an eye infection, went in to get it evaluated. They kept wanting to sell me glasses and contacts (I did not need) which I was asked about 30 times. Made an appointment for 1230pm, the Dr. had to leave early for some unknown reason, and I already had my measurements taken, waited almost 2 hours for another Dr. to come in. I was on my way out the door to another Dr., Finally a Dr. walked and treated me, the Dr. was great and helped me out a lot (Wish I could remember his name). I didn’t leave until 245pm and apparently my insurance wasn’t able to cover what they had done (Aetna). So, I had to pay a full $ 45 to cover the evaluation. They were very apologetic throughout the process, but still continued to want to sell me glasses and contacts, after I stated many times what I was there for. I finally got to leave at 245pm. Will I go back? probably not. They Independently contract optometrist, so its never a consistent Dr. in the office, Dr. was great… service sucks! They did tighten my glasses for free, and that is the only reason I will give them 3 stars.

This place is great. I have been a contact lens user my whole life and have used the same brand. I started having issues with my contacts so I came in for an exam. The manager was great, she took her time to make sure that I had the right lenses and that they felt comfortably. I was given lots of options at a great price. Definitely found my new go to place for glasses and contacts.

After researching around Jacksonville I decided to go to the office on Beach Blvd. I needed a pair of glasses, sunglasses, contacts eye exam, and safety glasses. What a great place to go! The staff answered all of my questions and were very patient with everything. They were able to provide the lowest price for what I need. Since I have numerous different types of eye wear, My Eye Lab was able to provide a greatp roduct for all of my needs. Christina the GM and her staff are the ones to see for your eye needs. Would recommend.

The employees are very unprofessional, always short staffed, and waits are way too long. As I say for 45 minutes for a follow up appointment, I witnessed two unhappy customers speaking with the manager. She was unprofessional enough to talk down to the customer and make them seem as if the very stupid and it was inconvenient for her to deal with them. I would never recommend anyone to this establishment!

My initial exam was in August and today, December 20 th. 2014, I finally got my second pair of glasses. Two exams to get the prescription right, sending the glasses back at least three times because lenses were made wrong, frames bent so badly they could not be adjusted properly even by BJs optical, and other custumers coming in upset about other problems… I will never never never go back. 4 months of wasted time and money. I have never posted a complaint about a business before, but this place is unbelievable.

One of the worst retail experiences EVER! Run, don’t walk, to the nearest competitor. I had a pair of frames that I wanted to change the prescription in. It took 2−½ weeks and then the prescription was wrong. They said it would take another two weeks and I asked them for my frames and my money back. They fervently promised me it would only take a week… you guessed it… it took two weeks more. All total it took FIVE AND A HALF weeks to change a prescription. In addition, when I called, no one seemed to know what was going on. This is a company run by a bunch of bumblers.

Don’t bother with this place unless you really don’t have the money for a REAL eyeglass place. They tell you it takes two weeks to get your glasses, but it’s been three weeks now and no glasses. I didn’t even get any coatings added to my lenses so what can be possibly taking that long? They give me the runaround every time I call or just keep saying «it can take three weeks». Yes, and it’s BEEN three weeks already… What great, caring customer service they have. The girls working here are rude and unknowledgeable about much of anything anyway. They will also try to scam you out of the deal you are there for by trying to charge you double the price. Also the «doctor» jammed his ungloved, unwashed fingers in my eyes to hold them open after a customer had just left the room… Disgusting. I will never go here again even if it means paying a lot more elsewhere. Lesson learned the hard way.

My opinion is that this place is a joke. It takes way to long to get your glasses once you get you eyes checked.

(YES I AM YELLING) EYE LAB IS FRICKING AWESOME THE STAFF WAS GREAT DR. MILLER THE EYE DOC WAS VERY NICE some docs very quiet and rush BUT HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE in the past i use to find whatever was cheap in the mint magazine but now I think that will change for the future I will be visiting EYE LAB again. Dorothy was extremely nice too they all need a pay raise. I especially like that they didnt force more stuff to make a sale they asked me I said no thank you and that was the end I appreciate when the don’t keep going THIS PLACE IS GREAT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO HERE FOR YOUR VISION NEEDS
