Worst experience of my entire life! I highly recommend this establishment to nobody. The owner was very rude, and wanted you in and out as soon as possible. Needless to say, I will never be going back!

I don’t know where to begin. Just save yourself the time and the disappointment. Incompetent, bare bones staff(2 people) at lunch time, trying to remember who had what while wondering about aimlessly. We didn’t even get attention until we had been seated for 15 minutes(seriously, no exaggeration), but we were given the«we’ll be with you all in just a minute» more than once. We would’ve been okay with the wait if we weren’t the only ones there. Seriously, we were the only table taken and the two behind the counter didn’t appear to be committed otherwise. I don’t want to bore you with the details, but all six of our meals were a swing and a miss, while half of them were wrong altogether. I don’t want to be exaggeratory… i’m speaking the truth here. We all had disappointing, tasteless sandwiches, which were shockingly small given the ingredients they claimed to contain on the menu. They were slow to come out(about 20 minutes) and came out in a staggered fashion so much so that our insistence to «just eat» to each other left the last person to receive their food eating more or less by themselves. Mine was worst of all — i try to avoid meat and dairy(read vegan) if I can — but I tagged along to be a good sport. There was nothing on the menu that fit that bill so I asked if they could indulge me with a «veggie wrap» to which they responded, «sure». I further explained that they should put avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, pickle, onion, sprouts, peppers… any and all veggies that they had behind the counter would be great. The sandwich that I was presented after a 30 minute wait(I was last to be served) was a couple of lettuce leaves, tomato, cucumber, and onion(all in sparse quantities) sandwiched between two pieces of undressed white bread. I am not kidding. This was a cold cut sandwich without the cuts, and a piss poor one at that. I didn’t have the will to say anything — seeing as though it took the time it did to get to that position. I actually patted myself on the back for my restraint while I waited to be acknowledged to pay my $ 8 check… what a joke. How this place remains open, for what the other poor reviews would lead me to believe is 5+ years now, is unfathomable.

Great breakfast(bacon egg cheese croissant) served fast, delicious caramel macchiato and friendly patron. What more could you ask for?

This local café is owned by a wonderful lady who makes sure you have the perfect order. When I walked in, I was hoping for a Tiropita, but she was starting to make them, so I ordered instead an egg, bacon, & cheese croissant sandwich. The croissant was super buttery, which I like, and it was the right consistency of egg, not rubbery or chewy. The prices are reasonable, and I was happy to have such a friendly lady helping me.

I purchased their $ 8 for $ 14 of food/drinks Groupon and decided to try their lunch. I went around 12:30 on a Tuesday and they were not busy at all. The owners were sweet and made suggestions when I was having trouble deciding what to try! I ended up trying the cheesecake brownie($ 5.59) and salsasito turkey panini($ 7.99). Both were delicious! The brownie was perfectly hot with ice cream and whipped cream garnish. The bread they served the panini on was delicious & Boar’s head turkey didn’t disappoint. Overall, I would definitely return. If you’re looking for an über gourmet meal — this is not it. If you want quick, delicious & classically comforting lunch fare then definitely give it a try!

When I walked inside I was instantly struck by a sweet smelling odor that reminded me of cinnamon rolls and chocolate cake.(Maybe it smelled that way cause I was on a diet). Got a veggie egg white omelette, asked if they had grits and the lady said no but we have oatmeal. Yuck I don’t like oatmeal. I think it’s an acquired taste. Searing inside was very crowded for an early morning. Overall, it was ok and convient. But no grits… boo!

Only tried Tapestry Café because of the available Groupon. And boy, would I be disappointed if I didn’t have that voucher.($ 8 for $ 14 worth of food) I order a 12″ turkey sub and a Greek salad, the prices online from their OWN website do not match what is currently charged. $ 8.99 for a par sandwich — the only thing I liked was the bread, you do get Boar’s head deli meat but the sandwich really fell flat. Oh, and don’t expect chips like their online menu suggested — they changed that as well. $ 7.19 for a Greek salad… there was no protein and it was no bigger than a side salad. These two items were supposed to be for lunch and dinner, but I barely felt full off the 6″ sub unlike a Pub sub. She charged me a $ 2.99 w/tax to make up the overage. So without the Groupon I spent $ 17.20 for basically ONEMEAL You can feed two people at Panera for the exact type of food w/more quantity. If the owner is reading this, you have a great place but you are way to overpriced for what you’re putting out.

I would give it 0 stars if I could, complete rip off and complete scam. Thin $ 8 Omelette with no sides or drink, charged an extra $ 1.56 over the sale+tax price, no receipt, and most likely cut me short on change by $ 1.50 on purpose. HIGHLY unrecommended!

We are in Jacksonville for the weekend. The best choice closest to our hotel was Another Broken Egg Café, but the wait was over an hour. We really didn’t want fast food, so we happened to come across Tapestry Café and decided to give it a try. It didn’t take long to notice that there is no concept of a line. There were two people running the place and both seemed to have ADD. It took three attempts to place our order because they were distracted by other customers. This distraction was caused because they would constantly forget pieces of customer’s orders. It took about 20 minutes to receive our lattes and food after we ordered. We all ordered omelettes. The eggs were overcooked and dry. They had no flavor even with the fillings. Definitely not worth the $ 7 or the wait. We all took a few bites, none of us wanted to finish them despite our hunger.

Way overpriced for the food. Both of our meals were close to terrible. Wouldn’t give a star if possible. Customer service was also bad.

Great coffee. Great service. Yummy. 45 minute wait at the broken egg. Found this place right around the corner. My new secret place for breakfast. Love the mom and pop shops.

This is our favorite quiet breakfast spot. Great service and great food! They remember us and make us feel at home every time we go. If you’re looking for a good meal, good service and good drinks this is definitely the place to go!

If you’re looking for a mid-morning snack or a place to unwind during lunch, this sweet little bistro is a nice place to swing into if you’re around Tapestry Park. The staff was friendly, but service was slower than I would have expected being that I was the only customer at the time and only ordered a cinnamon roll that needed to be heated. I can see that this would be a problem if I was in a rush and just looking for a quick cup of tea or coffee. If, however, you do have a half-hour or so to sit back and enjoy a tea while eating one of their pastries or pressed sandwiches, this spot is charming and quiet — perfect for catching up on some reading, meeting with friends or working on a laptop.

I was really glad to find a sweet, little European spot in the area. Run by a darling family, the have an extensive wine selection and menu! I came in on a beautiful Saturday morning with two girlfriends. We sat outside, ordered iced coffees along with our food, and enjoyed the sun until our food came out. The bread on my panini was a perfectly pressed ciabatta, it was nicely toasted and not pressed to death. After our meals we enjoy a bottle of champagne that one of the employees put on ice for us while we ate. How sweet! If you’re in the area and looking for a quiet café, and you want to support family business, then stop in and you’ll be glad you did.

I was very surprised to see some of the previous reviews about this place. I came here thanks to a Groupon that I saw and decided that now was the time to break this place in. We arrived to a quaint little café/bistro and were immediately greeted by the owners. This is a mom-and-pop place, with the«whole package.» They even have a small(but varied) wine selection – which I have to admit surprised me to see(especially given that it was more than the stereotypical table wines you see at small restaurants like this one). I got the BBQ chicken panini, and my coworker got the turkey and avocado wrap. My panini was simple, but amazing. If you could add lettuce to a panini(which you can’t without it going nasty at the press stage), that would be the only thing to make it better. My friend’s wrap had just a sliver of avocado on each side, which constitutes the sole«disappointment» of the visit. The service was first-rate, and I was even inspired to get dessert(which was also fabulous). I get why some say this is over-priced(let’s face it, my $ 8 panini should only cost about $ 5-$ 6), but for the service and atmosphere I am okay with paying a little more – don’t we do the same thing when we shop for groceries at Publix instead of Walmart? Bottom line is that this is a good spot, and one that I will add to my list for a visit again soon!

Was excited to find a local café but very disappointed with the food for the price. I ordered the Greek Omlette and Spanikopita with an Espresso. My mom ordered the Mediterranean omlette with a cappuccino. The omlettes were microwaved and had no flavor. The Spanikopita had little filling and the phillo was chewy. I felt lile I was eating dip. The Espresso was too watery and had grounds in it. And the cappuccino was burning hot. We were also the only ones in the restaurant and our food came out 5 min apart even though we ordered at the same time. If looking for breakfast find somewhere else. The food I ordered was cost $ 30 and definitely was over priced for the quality and quantity.

I had the opportunity for a little bit longer than usual lunch today so I decided to move a bit outside of my «lunch bubble» and try Tapestry Café. The menu is pretty big and, according to the woman working, they serve lunch all day. I decided to go with the turkey avocado on a spinach wrap. They don’t have fountain drinks(a negative in my book), just bottled ones. Anyway, I sat down to wait and after about 20 minutes the younger man(the previously mentioned woman’s son), asked if I’d gotten my food(he was the one who had actually taken my order). I told him no and he started to apologize. I’m still not sure what happened but the woman also came over to apologize. When my food came out, they also gave me a cup of fruit salad for my wait. The wrap was good, but nothing worth driving out of my way for. I’m not sure there was even avocado in it(if there was any, it wasn’t enough to taste). The prices were about average for the serving size. Might be a good place for a lazy weekend breakfast or hanging out over coffee but not good when you have someplace to be.
