Great for watching sports. Steak salad was good. Get it with balsamic dressing. Waiter recommended Bleu cheese dressing but that is too much cheese. Husband had steak which took 2 tries to get it cooked almost right. Tasted pretty good. In a sleepy part of town. Clean. Ok for that night but won’t go back.

Last time service was much more attentive. In fact my wife was surprised how much I tipped. That wasn’t an issue this time. Prestle bites only thing that I would not get again. Bacon and blue rocks. If you get Rion, maybe come back another time.

My wife and I live off 210. Tried this place once when we first moved in a few months back and it was mediocre at best. Kinda grimy and dingy when we were in. Super drunk random guy telling us he’s going to end up «dying in a motorcycle accident» greeted us outside. Old or new fries(did try them, not sure) we’re on the floor at our feet. Tried he nachos(meh), then the chicken sandwich for dinner(meh). Since then, we always mention it in the endless weekly«where do you want to eat» conversation due to how close we are, but it’s quickly discarded or replaced. If it weren’t for Hurricane Grill a mile down the road serving an upgraded and better tasting version of their menu, we would have probably been back. But, since they aren’t, we haven’t.

We had a very enjoyable meal here a few days ago. We each started with a cold beer from their plethora of options. Can’t go wrong with a Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and a Labatt. For dinner I had the Kentucky hot brown and hubby had the jambalaya. Hubby said the jambalaya was very tasty and he would definitely have it again. It must not have been enough for him because he was nibbling on my french fries as well. Suggest getting an appetizer if you have a large appetite. My hot Brown was very good but next time I will order extra mornay sauce as I like mine a little more saucier. I have had a better hot brown but this one was still very good and I would order again. Last time we were here I remember getting a special of some kind of steak with chimmichuri sauce that was very good. If I recall correctly however the Gouda cheese grits needed to be creamier. I don’t think the chef is from the south. Overall we have had good meals and will definitely be back.

We love this place! Food and beverages are consistently good and fair-priced. Service is always excellent! Took the family there for my husband’s birthday on this past Thursday and it was a really nice get together with excellent service!

Here from out of town. Great atmosphere, good service. Bloody Mary was delish, Chips with 3, loved cheese and guac, but not crazy about salsa. Friend got a salad which said was great. Pool table, clean bathrooms. Would absolutely recommend.

We love Taps! It is so much more than your typical strip mall bar and grill. In my opinion both service and food do more than just satisfy. Living in St. John’s Florida, there are not too many options to choose from for a family night out but I would choose Taps even if it was located in my old neighborhood of San Marco(full of lots of local restaurants). I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet thai chili wing sauce and ranch. It was absolutely delicious! The lettuce was crispy and the tomatoes were fresh. There was more chicken than there was breading on the chicken(I feel like sometimes get this ratio backwards). The thai chili sauce was sweet with a nice kick! This was perfectly balanced by the ranch dressing. I ordered fries as my side and they appeared to be hand cut and nicely fried. I will definitely be ordering this again. My husband ordered the Philly. This was his first time ordering this as he is typically loyal to the Taps burger which he thinks is the best in town. While he did say the Philly was not as good as the burger, her was very happy with his meal. The restaurant uses white American cheese on their sandwhich which gave a nice flavor. The meat also seemed to be of good quality. The star of our meal was my daughter’s kids meal. She ordered fish sticks. We were expecting to get your typical mass produced frozen sticks but were very pleasantly surprised! These were big strips of hand breaded white fish! In the picture I am attaching I sliced one of the sticks so that you can see the quality. The tartar sauce that came with this meal was also delicious! I believe there is also an «adult» version of this meal which will be on my radar in the future. The only item that I have had from their menu that I was not completely satisfied with was the ahi tuna appetizer. I felt like it was a little«fishy» tasting. I probably would not order that again.

Becoming a fast favorite! Last few visits we’ve really enjoyed the food and service. Sitting at the bar is always a smart choice. Bar staff are great! Love the pretzel bites and wraps are favorites! Beer always cold! Still wish the smoking section was somewhere besides as you walk in, but we will go back!

Alright, alright, alright(in McConnaughey voice)! Taps on 210 has stepped up their game! The last time I walked into this place I thought I might need to dust off my bugle and play«taps». The owners must have envisaged the funeral procession as well. Talk about turnaround– the atmosphere makes me want to tap dance(I’ll be able because I won’t stick to the floor). This place could easily become the«neighborhood hangout»! I need a tappin’ snappin’ Amen for the updated décor AND the nacho app was bangin’!!!

Horrible food Horrible value The only place open past 10 pm on CR210 Trashy The food is overpriced Tastes like it is frozen or microwaved Chicken fingers and Frozen frenchies should not cost 10 – 15 $ Im not sure why they cant make more than in house. they through everything in a small container and do not care about their presentation at all. The sliders, hamburgers, fries, mashed potatoes and chicken tenders are ALLBAD. There are not alot of options on CR210, so their standards are low. They know they are one of the few restaurants and the only burger/American spot, so they do not care. Everything is closed after 11pm, and most places are 10pm, therefore they do not pride themselves in their food, service, or atmosphere. They need less tables and more walking space I do not recommend save your money and time Drive an exit or two away from exit 329 and get quality food. Find a place with happy hour or lunch specials with decent presentation and cuisine.

Somewhat pricey food and drinks for a little bar. Food is alright. So far I’ve just had one of their weekly specials. Have a friend that works here so she talked me into coming by and checking it out during my lunch hour. Reserving any further stars for future visits. Service was ok, but the server we had wasn’t that knowledgeable about the menu or what they had. He told us the special was fish and chips when in fact near the front door there was a banner stating 3 food specials that were nothing close to fish and chips. We had to get up and go look ourselves.

My family loves Taps. Great food and atmosphere. If you want consistent and wonderful service, ask for Ryan. We have been many times, and it’s not perfect every time, however, they fix any issues and are super friendly. Most of the time we see a manager walking by checking on everyone. Kids eat free on Tuesdays!!! :)

I go here regularly because it’s often my only option nearby, but the inconsistency in the quality and portions of their foods and the quality of their mixed drinks has drastically increased in the last several months. Sometimes the food and drinks are decent or even good, but at times they are almost inedible. Last night the Taps House Salad, which I order regularly, was missing 2 key ingredients, eggs and croutons, and included about half the amount of the other ingredients that it normally does. Because it was a to-go order, I was stuck with it. This is the second time that has happened, and I think I have finally learned my lesson.

Food is average bar food at best. Customer service was great. Bathrooms were clean. The place was packed when I was there. Not much space in the place when there’s a band playing. Seems like it’s the neighborhood bar for Country RD210. The music was awful in my opinion.

After hearing good things about Taps, I decided to stop by during the week and see what the fuss was about. The service was pretty terrible and slow as all heck. If you like waiting an eternity and the feeling of your stomach eating itself, then be my guest and give Taps a go. The place was pretty empty and yet the service was painfully slow. How long does it really take to warm up some fried fish and french fries? Our waiter was terrible and rarely checked up on us. He promised to bring us refills, but we were dying of thirst throughout our meal until he finally remembered and brought new drinks out to us just seconds before we were leaving. I was puzzled as to where he could of possibly been all night, as there were very few people to wait on. Either way, the service we were given was extremely poor. The food was terrible for the price paid. Not only was it bland and tasteless, but I felt as if a small child could have prepared a better meal. I guess maybe the food here is okay if you’re drunk or lacking in any taste whatsoever, but if you’re looking for quality I would suggest searching elsewhere.

The food was again excellent but the service is getting slower and slower. The first and second time I ate here the service was slow and I chalked that to maybe some strange coincidence that people called out. However this is the 3rd Tuesday in a row and the service is getting worse. I waited 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged by my server. Please staff the restaurant with the business that you want and not with the business that you have. If you want to grow sales then staff like it. Please and thank you. I don’t want to have to stop coming here.

Great local bar. Can be hard to get seating. The shrimp & fried pickles were awesome. Shrimp & grits made perfect. Stuffed burger tasty too. Has the best beer selections.

This place is only okay. It’s a small restaurant and draws a local crowd. There is a mini-game room area where kids can play in view of their parents. My husband & I have visited this restaurant multiple times — twice just to dine & other times to attend trivia night(where we ordered food & drinks). The food is okay, nothing to write home about, though. My biggest problem with this restaurant is the slow service. It has been slow enough to where my husband & I would rather dine elsewhere than to sit and wait, and wait, and wait, and… I hope TAPS can get it together.

Absolutely delicious jambalaya. Good atmosphere and tons of beer. Friendly staff quickly met on a Friday night. If you drink I highly recommend you try the Kentucky Bourbon barrel ale. I didn’t want dessert until I tried this beer, now I want a piece of apple pie.

I am a fan of Taps… The bar and grill … not the movie(I mean I love the movie… but this review is for the bar/restaurant). I live near Nocatee, and there is not much nearby for a tavern/bar happy hour type of place. Taps isn’t to far away. And worth the extra few minute drive over. I have been here a few times. The salads are great, the burger I had was good. Onion rings are great! I think everything I have had is scratch made… Including the delicious fries. Tonight I had the fried chicken dinner. And OMG! Amazing! Oddly… I really really like the biscuit that is served with the meal(along with homemade mashed potato’s).. So good, and comes with a little cup of melted butter to dip! Decadent! Happy Hour domestic drafts are $ 2.25…perfect right after work. Service is always good. My only gripe is that parking can be a chore. It’s tight to drive around right out front.
