After dealing with the Walgreens on the Westside at Blanding and Wilson for three years, this Walgreens has been like a breath of fresh air!
When I call this pharmacy, they actually pick up the phone. Only once have I been rerouted to the huge call centre only to speak with a usually incompetent person.
The pharmacists here are really nice and they have gone out of their way to help me get prescriptions. I just haven’t been use to that.
When going using the drive-​thru to pick up prescriptions, everyone I’ve come in contact with has been smiling, friendly, and helpful.
Because of the Walgreens on the Westside, I have switched the majority of my prescriptions to Publix. I’ve left a few of them here because they have been so wonderful at this particular Walgreens.
PS: There’s a Redbox outside.
PSS: This Walgreens is NOT open 24⁄7.

I was in need of a special piece for a project that I was working on. The last time I needed this piece Walgreen’s had it. They had it again in housewares. Now I have been in this store a zillion times for this pr that. Well the place is usually pretty clean and full of stuff. This time was no different. Spotless no but clean. I got my piece and I’ll show you later what it is but for now you will maybe have to guess what I’m using it for.

I have never had a problem with this Walgreens. The Pharmacist is always nice. The photo department is a little slow, only because they don’t have a 24 hr photo tech. Over all great and honest customer service and clean store.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens was just too slow and only had one technician up front at 5:30pm (a Friday), the time of day when a lot of people want to pick up their prescriptions on the way home from work. They were taking so long that the lady in front of me must have thought so too because she left a few minutes after I got in line. Then when I finally got to the front, the RPh told me she could not fill my prescription and did not explain why until after I told her that I’d called and spoke to her before I got there to make sure it could be filled.

Typical Walgreens — kinda pricey unless the item is on sale. But convenient to run in and pick something up if you are in a hurry.
The employees here are very nice and seem to know a lot of the locals who come in here.
