Walmart Supercenter

Gah! I can’t stay away from this store! It’s the closest Walmart to me and has everything I need. I can’t say much about the neighborhood but it’s one of the newer Walmarts in town and I only go to it during the daytime. There’s really nothing to say about the store itself. It’s a Walmart, don’t set your expectations too high. If you can get what you came for and not have to wait in one of the long lines that usually form because they only have a few registers open, I’d call it a win.

The reason for four stars is location. This Walmart is closest to my house so it would be easiest me to to come to this one. But usually I try to go to a different one just because of the area this one is in. I try not to come here at night by myself. If you live in Jacksonville you know this area is kind of shady. I think that’s why this Walmart closes at 11. The inside however is always nice and well maintained. I decided to write a review on the service I received. Which was 5 stars! I ordered invitations online and had them shipped to the store for free along with a toy I purchased online. The customer service rep could not find my cards but was looking everywhere. He didn’t work in the photo department but was trying to be as helpful as possible. He even called an employee who was off work to ask where she put them. Finally he found them and they turned out beautifully. He also walked me over to the store pick up location and went to the back to get my toy I ordered. He went out of his way to assist me and I was very grateful. I wish I knew his name because he the most helpful person I’ve ever had at a Walmart. Usually they never help you and don’t know where anything is.

This store is never stocked when I come here. They are always out of everything I want. The shelves are always empty walking down the aisles. It’s ridiculous! The employees aren’t always friendly or helpful. Feel like I don’t belong in this Walmart with the type of people that go to this one and who work at this one. The store is also dirty. Definitely one of the worst Walmart’s I’ve been to.

Seriously. For a low as my expectations of Walmart are this store proves time and time again that they can give even less effort than normal. If I want any sort of stocked store you have to Go to the one off south side they built a few years ago otherwise it’s Walmart «expect even less»

Worst Walmart I’ve ever been too!!! Everyone is rude. When the store is busy (Christmas), there was only 3 lanes open. The produce is disgusting. When you call to ask a question the operator transfers you and no one ever answer. Don’t ever go to this location at night because you may get robbed. The security guards are there for a reason… I wish San Marco had more stores in the area.

I hate who I feel like when I step foot inside this store. In my mind, I come prepared to blend in with the People of Wal Mart. If I’m to do some serious wal mart shopping, I’m in my too tight spandex (for maximum muffin top) wearing bedroom slippers with my hair in curlers and last night’s make up still clinging desperately to my face. The best thing I can say about Wal Mart is that when I’m waiting in their Disney World Long lines to check out, there’s plenty of trashy magazines for me to read so I can catch up with who is cheating on whom, recent results of paternity tests and what astoundingly intelligent thing Kanye West has to say this week.

What do I say about this Walmart? The prices are comparable to other locations in town, that being said I only come here if I have no other alternative.
The employees here are a mixed bag of friendly, rude and the ever present too busy to be bothered…
The store is not the cleanest around… But I’m not too surprised considering it’s been around for a while.
At times it can be difficult to locate an item, as it seems they are constantly moving items around.

I had sometime to waste so Walmart is a place where you need something. In my case wally waters is always on the menu. This store is kind of in the hood or just hooker hollow for most. The place isn’t what you call clean but it has stuff to do for 20 minutes and I’m out of here. Waters in buggy and wings on my feet. To the pork store for some more sausage supplies.

So I think we can all agree we aren’t really «fans» of this Walmart, or any Walmart… but with my loathing of going to the grocery store wins every time, so this is where we usually end up, since it’s usually been 2 – 3 months since we’ve been.
This isn’t the worst Walmart on the planet. And, I prefer this one over the Normandy location… and the Riverside Publix too. (Don’t even get me started on the Riverside Publix parking lot)…
But yeah… it’s Walmart. Expect to see some weird things going on, magnified under the fluorescent lights, because that is what you walked in to. You will probably save a bit of money, and you can get almost everything you need in one trip. We usually go on early Sat. mornings, before it gets too busy.

Long lines and not enough registers open. I’m sure WalMart can afford to have a few more cashiers working.

Worst Walmart ever! I went here for some last items and there was LITERALLY 4 registers open with 8 customers deep at each one. I don’t normally shop at Walmart for this reason, but this has just confirmed my hatred for them. This place needs a complete management overhaul.
I decided to go to the customer service line with only 2 customers in it and it took 30 minutes get to the actual register! A woman next to me was still standing there trying to return a TV. She was still there when I left. Most incompetent employees as well. Lazy and they have no respect for the customer. I will not be going back to this Walmart and I strongly suggest you don’t visit here! Find another Walmart! You’ve been warned!
