I love this place for a fast lunch. It’s fast and good for Chinese food in Jax. Get the teriyaki chicken and an order of vegetable soup then tell your wife you ARE eating healthy.

OMG!!! I had the beef and broccoli it was so delicious. I waited a good 10 minutes to eat and it was still piping hot. Lunch time special is a most. I was the best $ 5 spent. I was expecting a tiny box of fried rice with beef and broccoli. But no the meal was so much I could’ve shared with another person.

I now remember what it was like when I lived not too far from this place. Having been away 15 years and had the privilege of enjoying genuine Chinese food I can honestly say this is the worst example of Chinese cuisine I have ever eaten. It tastes like it came from a can.

We ordered 2 lunch specials which were boneless spare ribs with rice & chicken lo mein with rice. The food looked great but was very greasy and it tasted weird. The only thing I would order again are the cream cheese wontons(krab goons as printed on the receipt). They were delicious and had a perfect crunch.(2 – 3 weeks ago if I’m not mistaken)

got beef and broccoli there last week and it was so bad I had to throw it away. not sure what the beef was but I sure wish the cook had to eat what he served… he needs to quit the industry

The staff is very friendly and my food is always delicious. I drive past many Chinese restaurants on my 15 minute ride just to come here. Its that good.

I’ve heard of this place for years but have never been, and today something got me to come and give this place a try. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken lunch special. The chicken was a little burnt and a bit dry. It also comes with veggies and fried rice. The fried rice, of which there was a big portion, was okay but a little bland. Overall, the food is above average but good enough for the price.

This jacksonville staple serves great cheap Chinese food. It’s one of those places that looks like they have put less than $ 18 into the look of the building. The«vintage Hardee’s» look of the space has no effect on the food. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I used to go only at holidays when everyone else was closed, but now I am going more frequently.

I have been eating at Yings for years and it’s always been good. I usually do drive-thru and I have never received the wrong order, nor have I gotten home and realized something was missing. It’s always very hot and fresh, even after picking up a Redbox movie on the way home! For fast-food Chinese, Yings is definitely the best.

Good Chinese food. Not amazing but always good. I normally get noodles instead of rice, and the krab egg roll is outstanding, as well as the crab rangoons! Been here for 30 years now. It’s like $ 5 – 6 a person. It’s worth it!

Between the name, establishment, location, and drive thru, I had to try it. People were friendly. decent menu, but they don’t have tofu/bean curd. Got the veg lo mein. Just not good. Kind of a funny taste. BF got sweet and sour chicken and said same for entrée and egg roll. Neither of us finished our meals. Meh.

My #1 drive thru for Chinese in Jax. I lived on that side of town for my first 16 years and remember going here ever since I even can remember. Quick, good, and always perfectly cooked, not overdone or underdone. I compare all noodles I eat to these. I always get general chicken, lomein, and won ton.

It’s alright but cheap. The fried rice is disgusting so I don’t get the combo plate anymore. I usually just order off the appetizer menu: teriyaki beef on a stick, egg rolls, krab rangoon. The best thing is the krab egg roll, which is basically a rangoon filling in an egg roll wrapper. Fried and sweet perfection.

I’m going to be very honest here. These guys are not the most phenomenal Chinese place I’ve ever eaten, however, they are clean, dependable, budget friendly and fast! I’ve heard this place has been around in Jax for at least 20 years maybe 25. You must have something right if you can keep open a little nonchain restaurant. Why do I keep coming back, why would I suggest the place? It’s good, fast, super cheap and consistent. Tonight I drove over to university blvd and popped in the drive thru for the first time in maybe 3 – 4 years to pick up a hugely craved Chinese«dinner».(Watching Godfather made me want it). I usually get honey chicken combo and crab goons. I also grabbed sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice. Lets just be real here, the fried rice is more like rice w. soy sauce and a few onions but its just a side, much like grits here in the south. They just come with it, and most aren’t amazing. Additionally, the price is like $ 5-$ 6 per person. Can’t beat that with a stick. Sooo, if you’re craving quick Chinese pop in, even do a weekly lunch special! During the week, they have a daily lunch entrée under$ 5. Give this place. Shot. They’re not bad.

This was the cleanest restaurant I have ever visited. For the money the food was pretty good. It was hot, plentiful and a good value. Taste was typical Chinese take out food. Worth a try.

I figured since this place had been open since before Y-chromosomal Adam, that it must be a little gem that may look rundown but stays in business because it had good food. I can not express to you in any human language how wrong I was… The food here is egregious; «e-gre-gious [ih-gree-juhs] Adjective: Outstandingly bad; shocking.» The fried rice somehow tasted like soap, the boneless spare ribs were 100.5% fat(yes I’m aware that doesn’t make sense) the orange chicken had more bread than chicken, was soggy and tasted like a foot that had been rubbed with an orange that had gone bad. The egg rolls weren’t terrible, they were bad, but not terrible. All in all I would definatly recommend this place… To hitler P. s. How dare you call yourself a Chinese food take out establishment and not give me a G.D. Fortune cookie!
