The Melamine Cup

Love this place! So happy the owner is good about sharing new items on facebook. I’ve gotten everything from cool chairs, a vibrant vintage quilt, king kong drinking glasses. I always leave with something fun for the house!

I love the melamine cup and the owner is very nice, helpful and welcoming! I am quite a lover of mid century modern furniture. She is always bringing in new and interesting items. Prices are reasonable as well. I go back quite often and never leave empty handed. Check it out!

The Melamine Cup boasts it purveys mid century modern, vintage and nostalgic items. While I am not much into «retro» furnishings and items, the nostalgic items did send me back in the time machine of my mind!
My sister and two friends accompanied me on this voyage of discovery! My sister bought a dark blue «naugahyde» couch in excellent condition, as well as a vintage radio. In another room, she also scored a set of four stainless steel and vinyl 1950’s chairs for her kitchen table for $ 30, as well as a retro gravy boat. I fell in love with the selection of used Levi’s jean jackets in the back of the room and found one that fits perfectly for $ 25. In a display case, I saw a fimo clay like square jar with a white unicorn on top, much like I had when I was 12. I scored that baby for $ 5 for my 6 year old daughter. They also had some Better Homes & Gardens furniture, just like the ones I had way back in the early 80’s. Wish I still had the doll house! And alas, some awesome sneaker roller skates just didn’t fit.
