Brent Barlow, Boston Voice Lessons

I’ve been with Brent now for about 2 years and he is simply one of a kind. I had worked with other vocal teachers on and off over the years and really didn’t feel like I was progressing very quickly. Within the first 6 months of working with Brent, my singing improved more than in all the prior years combined. Brent is always full of energy, positive, and encouraging. No matter what your level, he has useful and easy to grasp insights that will take you to the next level. If I could give him 6 stars, I would!

Brent is a fantastic voice teacher! He has all the technique a teacher should have to help you grow as a «trained» singer who knows how to perform professionally, execute the most difficult musical challenges and protect your voice. What makes him unique (well, there are quite a few things!) is that he has the talent, experience and understanding to relate this type of technique to every singer whether she/​he sings pop/​rock/​R & B/​jazz, and the list goes on. Brent is versatile and exceptionally talented. He can do it all! Besides having a great personality and being fun to work with (just look at the picture), he seems to really enjoy teaching and invests in you as a student. I took voice from Brent several years ago and recently looked him up again because I knew he was the best. I’m driving way farther than I’d like to to get to his studio (there is free parking!), because he is worth it. If you study with Brent, you will be sure to learn and grow, regardless of your level.
