New Leaf Flores

I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with New Leaf Flores a few times now. They have yet to disappoint… far from it, actually! Every arrangement I’ve purchased has been incredible… This is my go to florist! You will not be disappointed!

Was fortunate to come across New Leaf on line when searching for a Jamaica Plain florist to deliver an arrangement to a Boston rehab center. After careful advice from Jeb, same day delivery was made and the recipient said «the flowers are stunning». (Jeb had recommended Chilean peonies in striking colors that really sang.) My one regret is that, living in NYC, I cannot order something similar delivered to myself. Artistry and elegance can be expected from this superior florist. Was extremely pleased to have found them.

My mom and I went in to make an arrangement for our living room. The owner is so nice! The flowers in the shop are beautiful; the vases all caught my eye. They’re not ordinary flowers that you would see in a flower shop; they have flowers with irregular shape & irregular colors! And the prices aren’t bad. We bought a lot of stuff so he gave us a discount. I would definitely recommend this shop!

We went here on a friend’s recommendation for our wedding flowers, and could not have been happier. After having been laughed at by a previous florist for the budget I was working within, I was so happy to be treated respectfully and thoughtfully by Daniel and Jeb. They took time to meet with us and clearly listened and put thought into the designs, even though it was not a big job. The flowers were delivered on time and exceeded my expectations. We got many compliments on the color palette and arrangement, and they look great in the photos. 100% recommend!

Daniel and Jeb are amazing; we went to them with almost no idea of what we wanted our centerpieces, bouquets, or ANYTHING look like. We know nothing about flowers, so we came to them with colors and confused expression and they completely took us under their wing. They sent us home with wedding magazines and ideas and, once we had some things that we liked, they completely took the reins. Daniel designed absolutely amazing flowers and they were just perfect.
As they are small business owners, they are hugely busy and the shop is sometimes closed because they are out working, so I would definitely recommend calling first and setting up an appointment that way.

I recently received an arrangement from New Leaf and could not have been more pleased! It was unique, clever, creative, and fresh. They will be my go-​to the next time I need to order flowers.

New Leaf provided the floral decorations for my wedding, and I can’t say enough positive things about my experience working with them. Daniel and Jeb were genuinely kind, accommodating and transparent about the whole process. I truly felt that they cared about making me and my family happy — and they heartily succeeded.
My husband is Iranian, so we asked Daniel to create a «sofreh aghd» for us (a low table displaying various symbolic items and flowers). Daniel came through with flying colors, despite being unfamiliar with the culture and our request. He eagerly absorbed all of the specifications we provided, and he and I collaborated to create what my father-​in-​law called «the most beautiful sofreh he’s ever seen.» Throughout our planning process, Daniel expertly balanced his role, offering creative solutions while never becoming pushy or overbearing. Leaving the studio after our final meeting, I felt completely confident in our discussions and what to expect on the wedding day — and having one less thing to worry about on that day was a true blessing.
Daniel seamlessly blended my ultra-​modern aesthetic with a respect for tradition and a keen eye for sculptural detail and natural warmth — and while I know not everyone’s idea of perfection will match my own, I cannot think of a single thing I would have changed about the final product. Daniel, Jeb and New Leaf are the exact opposite of «assembly-​line» floral design (I’m looking at you, Winston’s) and they are the unequivocally superior choice.

When it was time to order the flowers for our wedding our first (and only) stop was New Leaf Flores — partly because we wanted to use a local vendor and partly because we’d admired their window displays.
We knew nothing about flowers and even less about wedding color-​schemes. All we knew is that we wanted/​needed flowers for the reception. Daniel & Jeb were a pleasure to work with. They somehow managed to take our scattered thoughts and came up with floral arrangements which were breathtaking and unique. The play of color and greenery were truly works of art — and helped to make our special day even more special.
New Leaf Flores is simply the best.

I didn’t actually even get to order from New Leaf but I HAD to give them a shout out b/​c they were regretfully unable to accommodate my request for same day delivery due to a large order that they were working on for a wedding this weekend, however, without my expectation, they graciously referred me to another flower shop in the neighborhood. That to me is GREAT customer service and a sign of very cool peeps who truly aim to exceed expectations. Was extremely happy with their referral, and def plan on trying out New Leaf in the near future. :)

As soon as I moved to JP, a friend recommended that I stop by New Leaf on the way to visit my grandmother. This friend is opposed to spending money, ever, but springs for a bouquet every time he wants to cheer up a female family member. New Leaf is incredible. Sure, you could get pretty flowers at a super market, and you’d make someone smile. But can you go into a supermarket on Valentine’s day and ask for the most «masculine» flowers possible for under $ 20 and come out with a few exquisitely chosen orchid stems?
The owners find flowers I’ve never seen before. They help you create a bouquet or arrangement based on whichever main flowers suit your fancy (and your price range), and they make an arrangement and care about your day. They even gave me a few sprigs of spring buds because I was asking about them. This is a serious step up from a quick supermarket bouquet, and the arrangements are more creative, modern, and artful than any I’ve seen at a florist. They also last for weeks. Five stars. Go here every time. I literally make sure to walk by the window just to get a glimpse of the floral awesomeness in this store.

I’d love to discuss the service and quality of the product and this place, but I can’t. You see, I went twice during their posted business hours and found it closed. The second time left me particularly pissed, because it was a weekday afternoon and I had adjusted the way I go home to make this stop.
Why is that relevant? If you’ve ever had to drive down Centre Street at rush hour (or ever fucked a cactus, they’re pretty similar experiences) then I don’t need to explain it to you.
I don’t know, maybe this place is awesome. If they’re open.

New Leaf was our florist for our July wedding at the Smith Barn. Our experience was wonderful. They talked us through the whole process, listened to what we wanted, and then really helped make the design we had in our heads a reality. We didn’t have a huge flower budget and they gladly worked within it. The flowers were delivered and set-​up beautifully at the barn and they were even able to add some last minute requests we had!
It makes me happy we have such a great florists right on center street. We loved our experience with New Leaf and as long as we are in Boston they will be our go to florists!

I live nearby and after a while eventually made my way into the small store. It is jam-​packed with a wide variety of flowers, and are quick to help with making an arrangement or just getting a few flowers. I’ve been happy with the flowers and feel the price is fair so I will keep coming back.

1 week before my small, private wedding, I emailed New Leaf to discuss the possibility of a small nosegay bouquet. Daniel responded immediately, and I visited the shop to chat about possibilities. Regardless of the fact that Mother’s Day weekend was rapidly approaching, Daniel was thoroughly accommodating and gracious; as a result, I had a simple, but incredibly beautiful, bouquet for my day. Thank you, Daniel and thank you, New Leaf. You made my day lovely!

My mother just had surgery yesterday and I wanted a bouquet that popped with color and would bring some cheer to her drab hospital room. Well, it was very last minute when I walked in to the shop, thank God the young gentleman (and he was quite adorable I might add…) was so good with putting together the flowers. All I asked for was color and some purple flowers (that is mom’s fave color.)
My mom LOVED them and I plan on going back later this week to pick up flowers to bring to her at home as she recuperates.
I spent $ 63.00 totally for the bouquet (I will be honest on saying I don’t know much about flowers etc) but I think it was a fair price for the work he did and it certainly beats last minute supermarket flowers any day.

Called New Leaf Flores out of the blue (found them on Unilocal) and ordered a modest bouquet for a friend’s father’s wake.
The owner took my order, and explained everything in passionate detail.
Even explained how to recognize their bouquet from other flowers at the funeral home.
In the end, the flowers were beautiful and appreciated by all.

Jeb and Daniel at New Leaf made my day today. My girlfriend and hopefully my bride to be one day was home sick today. She loves orchids so I called and Jeb worked out a VERY reasonable price for an absolutely beautiful orchid arrangement which Daniel had just picked up from their supplier.
She was so thrilled. She called me thankful and smiling and followed with a text that said «They’ve transformed my day… I love you».
I would have paid double if I knew it was going to make that big a difference in her life today!

My husband ordered me flowers from New Leaf Flores for Valentine’s Day. Apparently, my husband gave them a general description of what I like and gave the florist license to play around. The bouquet was STUNNING. The flowers lasted all week, and I swear the arrangement just got more and more gorgeous each day as the flowers opened up. I couldn’t get enough of it.
I’ve found my Boston florist!

Terrific local shop that will make you look equally terrific!
Pros: local, flexible, personalized service, unique variety, great artistic flair
Cons: looking terrific isn’t cheap… but other places can definitely be more expensive
Came here because I was looking for a unique valentines day gift that didn’t involve the same boring bunch of flowers. I was helped by Daniel who eventually helped me to choose an amazingly unique and beautiful orchid from southeast Asia.
Besides giving me such a beautiful and hard to find choice, Daniel was honest and worked with me to stay within budget… we worked together on everything from the arrangement to the vase and it couldn’t have been a more stress-​free experience.
Of course most importantly, Daniel created a truly beautiful design that made my Valentine really happy. While any floral shop can get you roses or whatever, Daniel and his shop offers a great and beautifully tailored experience. You also get to support a local business rather than an ugly internet conglomerate. It must be mentioned that the one downside to this is that delivery is simply not an option because of the very high cost. However, that’s why they invented Zipcar right? All in all, this shop is a real Boston treat and a win win!
