Rainbow

I can see this location is long overdue for an updated review so I will take the liberty in writing one.
If you know in advance that you’re coming here, please don’t bring a large purse. The store is sooo cramped that you won’t be able to maneuver through the store with knocking stuff off the racks and getting your purse caught.
The space in the store is tight as I don’t even know what. It’s also kind of hot, so dress in layers because you will work up a sweat digging through $ 5 tanks and become hot and overwhelmed.
The plus size section is plentiful, more so than the Methuen location. Keep in mind that you may need to go up a size or two. If you wear a 1X you may need to buy a 3X like I do, especially if you have big boobs.
When shopping at Rainbow I literally only buy tanks and tees, anything else is a gamble because it probably won’t fit the way its suppose to and fall apart after one wash on the delicate cycle.
Other notes:
Make sure you check that your merchandise has the tags on it before you head to the register. Life will be sooo much easier if you do this.
It’s located in a plaza with Dunkins and Expressions (the male Rainbow?).
Up the street from a train station.
Keep your receipts!

Aside from the rather ridiculous security at this place, I had a decent time shopping here and scored three cute new skirts for $ 12.99 each. Woot!
I was a little put off that when I entered the store I had to surrender my gym bag and a bag of groceries to the security guard at the front. He said that I could hang on to my purse, even though it was rather large. Of course, I am going to hang on to my purse! It’s my purse, dude! I am not giving it to some random person in a store! This store is pretty much your typical Rainbow, but a bit smaller than other locations. They have a small junior’s section and a small plus size section, but most of the store is regular sizes. There is also a minimal shoe selection and some accessories.
I wanted to try on six items, but I was told by the lady at the dressing room door that I could only take in three items at a time. Oh my! They must have serious problems with people shoplifting or something. Extreme. It was kind of inconvenient to try on three items, get dressed again, then go out and get three more, but for the prices at this place, I really can’t complain too much.
Will definitely be back for more deals!
