Convenience is the only reason I would ever go here again. The service is good too. The food, um not so much. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs and the hash was the worst I have ever had. The stuff in the can is better than this. I would definitely recommend staying away from it. The potatoes were terrible too. The French toast was pretty much just toasted bread with syrup. I would say the safest bet is going with the oatmeal. The coffee was really good and the orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious. I dont know if I would come back for the food but I would probably just come back for the prices and convenience.

Excellent food, good prices, and good service. My wife and I ate there three times while on vacation. It quickly became our favorite restaurant in the area where we were staying. We requested delivery of the food one night, and the food arrived promptly and was still hot.

After passing by on foot countless times, I finally went in for breakfast. I’m so glad I did! Large portions of perfectly seasoned potatoes, pancakes with just the right balance of sugar & caramelization, and tasty turkey bacon. I’ve been back every weekend since.

We tried this place because we were looking for Breakfast for Dinner. And we were very lucky to end up at this café! We had an amazing time with a lot of good Breakfast food! The serving sizes were quite big and the people working there are fun, too. I can’t wait to come back to try the fried ice cream!

I’ve only ever had their eggs and waffles, and their coffee(supplied by local roaster Fazenda), but I absolutely love coming here. The people that work here are all great, and hearing their banter and exchanges among each other and the regular customers makes my mornings a lot better.

Ideal low-key casual diner with great food and friendly staff. Free wi-fi as well. Hidden gem!

Food is mediocre. I got country style fried chicken with white gravy. It was simple fried chicken smothered in a chicken gravy that in no way resembled a proper white gravy. The home fries were closer to semi-mashed potatoes and not the deliciously crispy fried potatoes home fries should be. A person I came here with got an omelette, which arrived runny and undercooked. The bacon maple waffle? A regular waffle with bacon crumbled on top and covered in syrup. It arrived soggy. We don’t like the coffee here, so we brought in our own. There are no signs stating this isn’t allowed, yet an older man who works here felt the need to berate my table for committing this grievous sin. Completely soured our experience here. The only bright spot was our waitress. She was attentive and gave us prompt service. There’s some cool pop art on the walls for sale. Take a look here for some interesting décor. In all, skip this place and go to one of the actually good breakfast places in JP.

While being random a friend and I decided to travel outside of our neighborhood in search of a good breakfast spot & man did we find one! The customer service was awesome and so was the food! While I dined on The Center street & she had The Robinwood we enjoyed a warm cup of hot coco filled with whipped cream. In the end we devoured our breakfast and order lunch for take out. Not so bad for a cold and gloomy Saturday. I will most definitely come back!

The food at Robinwood has never disappointed, but the woman answering the phone has. Whenever we call in to either fix something or double check something we’re usually greeted with«we have a lot of calls coming in right now, what do you need?» in a rushed rude manner. I understand that diners get busy, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to take a tone with myself or anyone else for that matter. If I ever did that at my job(as a hostess) I wouldn’t have a job for much longer. If this continues, I’m sure we’ll be unfortunately taking our business elsewhere.

Standard greasy spoon locals breakfast spot. Reasonable prices, large servings, and the server calls ya ‘dear’ or ‘hun’. Don’t expect a good cappuccino or that type of stuff here, just a solid meal. Big fan!

Solid food, but nothing special. This is about as typical as you can get for a diner. Eggs, potatoes, toast, and coffee. All with no frills. If that’s what you’re looking for, then great! The food tastes good, it’s just nothing different. Quiet diner with lots of locals. I got the egg breakfast that included scrambled eggs, home fries, toast, and bacon as well as refillable coffee. It was very cheap too which is exactly what my student budget can afford. They have an expresso machine but don’t seem sure on how to work it. My dad ordered a latte and it came out nothing like a latte. I’d stick to the house coffee. Cheaper and it’s refillable. Parking is a serious issue. There’s no lot and street parking is usually full. I wouldn’t recommend driving here. The waitress was very friendly. She seemed to have most of the tables in the room but still took time to chat. She knew most of the locals in there and made an effort to say hello to everyone.

So, I ordered marinated steak tips, mash and spinach for my boyfriend. It was juicy and tender, he was happy. I ordered chicken pot pie for myself and after one bite could tell that the chicken had gone off, I tried a tiny bit more to be sure but it was definitely bad. I called and the manager(owner) apologized profusely, said she would throw the rest out and offered to deliver anything else free of charge. I got the meatloaf and it was on par with steak tips. I’m giving 4 stars because mistakes do happen, that’s be expected, it was the fast and positive response that turned a potentially bad meal into a great one. I would order from them again and have been meaning to stop in for the brunch.

OK food. Fair prices. Nothing special. A happy surprise was the amount of bacon served with my meal. It was tasty but could have been cooked longer. I ordered rye toast but got white. I asked for fruit instead of home fries but got neither. Come here if you are in the area. Otherwise, go somewhere that has great breakfast.

The food was all right and the service decent. The first place my friend and I sat smelled a little strange so we moved to another table. The place needed some TLC but looked like it could have been a great 50’s summer soda shop with the ice cream stand, etc. Might try it again someday in a pinch.

Basic to pretty darn delicious breakfast, depending on what you order– definitely take a chance on their specials and/or out of the ordinary items. Amazing milkshakes that are customizable. We’ve only been here for breakfast on both weekends(on the early side) and weekdays(on the later side), and it’s been nice and quiet, even with other patrons(which is how I like it). Service is good, definitely looking forward to coming here more. Great place to have in our neighborhood! Oh and for summertime– yes they do have A/C!

When you walk in the door i notice the un-varnish floor which gave the place an awesome look. I love the booths they were made for big men like me to enjoy breakfast food on they also gave coats hooks on them which is convenient. I got the starter breakfast it included 2 eggs and your choice of sausage, bacon or ham. I got the sausages 2 scrambled eggs on wheat toast. Which made the plate awesome were the home fries well seasoned crispy. I would recommend this place. You’ll see me again

This place was one of the closer brunch locations near where I used to live. They are very friendly and will remember you if you visit often enough. Dining in is great! Seating is limited so they can be packed during the brunch rush. But! They serve breakfast all day, so if you’re in need of sleeping in a good extra hours & want a later ‘brunch,’ this is the place. They have a large menu selection so, for the most part, everyone can find something they like. A favorite of mine is one of their breakfast dishes — 2 eggs, bacon(or ham or sausage), potatoes, and toast. Another is their chocolate pancakes — always hit the spot anytime I had the craving for it. Absolutely delicious and so cheap! Dining in is lovely, but ordering delivery from here is also wonderful! This is also a great place to pick up coffee if you’re walking around the area. Good coffee and at a great price!

Just came here for the second time as the first time was OK. A small local place where everyone knows each other and everyone is friendly. Came here for breakfast and ordered a mushroom & bacon omlette with toast and«home fries». The omlette was a simple one which is not a bad thing. I had the same issue last time with the homefries though, as they had a strange after taste. They may have been old or even cooked another time and just reheated. The pancakes were good, nothing special. Friend had the pork fried steak which he said was good but not fresh. Simple diner with simple food. Prices are great and service is friendly.

Food is always good, and delivery is prompt. Servings are huge. I took off two stars for the following reasons: 1. One time they forgot my fries. I did ny notice until the delivery guy was gone and I really didn’t feel like dealing with it so I didn’t call or anything. 2. Their online menu and grubhub says they have coke and diet coke. Some people don’t care but Pepsi is a NO for me. The(very nice) delivery guy showed up with a Pepsi and said they never have coke. I took the Pepsi because once again I didnt want to deal with it for $ 1.50. This can be an issue for people because if I’d known it was Pepsi I wouldn’t have ordered it. Like I said before the food is good. Not amazing but satisfying enough for me to order from there twice. Never been in the actual restaurant even though it’s down the street from me, I’ve heard breakfast is their thing.
