I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer. Sonora is an amazing lady! I worked with her this past semester at Lesley University. She was in her last year of getting her master’s degree in counseling psychology, and I was a senior in undergrad, also a counseling major. I was dealing with many overwhelming issues, including figuring out where I wanted to live after graduation, depression and anxiety. Sonora was a wonderful guide and resource during this time. She was an amazing listener, giving me a chance to get everything I needed to out, but also challenging me gently when needed. I apreciate her warm relational style, and focus on the body mind connection. I don’t think I could have gotten through the semester without her help. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with the issues I have mentioned. In adition, I would recommend her to anyone with a disability. I am totally blind and this plays a part in my issues as you can imagine. Sonora skillfully handled this and wasn’t afraid to ask questions and explore what this means to me. So yeah, she’s awesome!

As a licensed massage therapist, I regularly refer clients to Sonora to address their discomfort at its source. Her work as a practitioner of Alexander Technique and Self-Regulation Therapy introduces ease and release as a normal way of doing things… a novel concept for most of us! My personal experience in working with her is that she empowers me to more fully inhabit my body and become acquainted with the full spectrum of my abilities. Sonora’s work is also a crucial tool for me in managing frequent migraines — through Self-Regulation Therapy, I’m learning how to regulate light and sound sensitivity. Sonora is a brilliant lady — talented, funny, smart, and she her skills bring tons of relief and insight. It’s great to know she’s there as a resource, for me and my clients.
