I live right around the corner from this place and order frequently. Their dishes are pricier than most fast-foody asian places, but they pack their plates so I usually have enough to have another full meal or to share. Especially if you get any number of their combo plates, which become a really good value. I’ve yet to have anything here that doesn’t satisfy, and they nail the staples: stir frys, lo mein noodles, beef with brocolli, orange chicken, and egg rolls all are good to nicely satisfy a craving. Also, everything is made to order, which means it’ll be hot and fresh but may take about 15 minutes to get your meal(so order ahead if you can). This place trades traditional hours for being open very late night. I’ve had a few times when I’ve been craving some of their chicken lo-mein for lunch and been disappointed to remember they don’t open till 4PM. On the other hand, it’s a great place to stop by with friends when you’re coming back from the bars and looking for something yummy and still open in the area. The place looks like a bit shabby on the inside. The colors are interesting, but combined with the bare walls and oddly constructed interiors it is not a very pleasant to hang out. Good enough for grabbing a quick bite, but otherwise I remind taking your stuff to go.

We ordered from foodler, and it took just over an hour to receive our order, but that’s fine on a snowy Friday night. But they gave us the wrong size orange chicken without the extras we ordered for it. It took them another two hours to get us the correct orange chicken, and when we called to see if it was on it’s way, the lady on the phone couldn’t be sure, so we just had to keep waiting…

Found multiple hairs in my orange chicken today. It’s sad really, I really liked this place. Crab Ragoon is very good. So is the Orange Chicken, but I cant tolerate hair in my food. They just lost a loyal customer.

Food is .ehh. I used to live right across from this place the only good thing about it is that is open really late. I usually order the Orange Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea Smoothie/Slushy or a Lychee Slushy. Food used to be OKAY at best but now it’s just bad. The staff is pretty rude. I got a Lychee Slushy and asked for it with Lychee Jelly but didn’t realize there wasn’t any in there until I got home. I called back and some girl on the phone named Bonnie was just rude and had a huge attitude about it. I wouldn’t come back to this place if it was the last restaurant in Mission Hill/JP.

Crispy Chicken Pad Thai is the bomb. And they deliver to me in the west end(I call, I don’t order online or thru the Unilocal app). I’ve never had an issue. Yes, there is cheaper Asian food out there, but there is also more expensive. My food has been hot when I’ve received it, and their employees/delivery personnel have been friendly. I will definitely keep coming back — I should make an effort to try more from their menu, but the crispy chicken pad Thai is just irresistible to me at this point: p AND! Can’t beat that they are open very late

What a piece of shit restaurant. Ordered food late night on NYE knowing full well that they would be busy. I expected that it would be late, i knew that it would take awhile… what i didn’t expect is that i would end up having to call the restaurant 3 times to ask where the hell my food was, only to be yelled at in broken english by someone on the other end of the line, and then to have my food never show up but STILLBECHARGEDANYWAY. Please, if you value your money, DONOT order from this restaurant.

I love Wok and Talk. For an after hours food spot(of which there are very few in JP) I think they get the job done! Fast, hot, and spicy. I always dine in so I don’t have problems with delivery and I always order vegetarian so I can say I have never had problems with«regretting» what I ordered. I say that in reference to previous recent reviews. I will say that the last time I went here(last sunday 10÷4÷15 at around 2am) a friend wanted to try their ice cream and he said it was terrible and freezer burned. So there’s that. Overall I like wok and talk! Spicy drunken noodle with veggies is my favorite!

Delivery was two hours late when I called to cancel it. I won’t be ordering from them again. Wish I’d read their reviews on here before I chose them.

Pro: open late. I mean very late. Kudos for fast delivery. Con: food is well below average. Sauce with too much vinegar and just bad entrée. Left an awful taste in my mouth and waves of abdominal pain. Rice was cooked well and the soda can was not dented… Strike two you’re out.

*PRUDENTIALCENTERSTANDREVIEW* Nothing good here folks, keep it moving. I’m not sure about the brick and mortar location, and apologies to them if they’re unrelated, but if they’re anything like the Prudential Center stand, I’d recommend you go elsewhere. TASTE: Simply put, not that great. It’s worse than Panda Express, but just as terrible for you. Breaded Orange chicken was kinda stale tasting. It’s about as good as an okay as any PE knockoff Chinese food place, except any other place would probably charge you less than the $ 9⁄10 they charge at the Pru location for one and a half scoops of Orange Chicken and a side of «Chow Mein»(read lo mein). QUALITY: Same as Panda Express except the food is never really warm. So think lukewarm Panda Express… VALUE: Think lukewarm panda express, but more expensive. Recommendation: Keep it moving folks, nothing to see here… The Panda Express references are used here because there used to be one located at the Prudential Center food court.

At first it’ll appear as the typical generic Panda Express knock off. Please spare yourself the tummy trouble and DONOT eat their food. It’s cheap and tasty, but you WILL regret it. I got the lo mein, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli. It was cheap and filled me up, but I paid the painful consequences. After eating the food I felt extremely bloated and gassy. The aftermath was a truly brutal and agonizing experience, like violent eruptions of acid gushing out of me. Thank god it’s all over now, but never again. Honestly one of the most horrid(if not the most) experiences I’ve had with Asian American food in my whole life.

Terrible food. 5 out of 6 dishes ordered were microwave heated supermarket prepackaged food.

DONOTEATHERE! I got food poisoning for several days after I ate here for a late night meal. I thought this place was a haven for being open so late but the next day I knew I had made a big mistake. I will never come back.

I always order from here as my go-to late night meal. The Pu Pu Platter for 1 option is the best. Particularly, the boneless spare ribs have a sweet sauce that other restaurants can’t compare to. Orange Chicken is a solid dish as well. My favourite item on their menu is the wide selection of Boba Teas. I can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately, I can’t give a full 5-star rating because there have been occasional order mix-ups, and the food has not always been consistent. Order from here for delicious late meals, and even more fantastic boba tea.

I used to love this place but NEVERAGAIN!!! I live less than 4 miles away from them and put in an $ 80+ order at 10PM. I received a phone call at 12:30 at night telling me they WOULDNOTDELIVERTOME. Not because of distance, but simply because they were overwhelmed with orders. They could’ve told me this MUCH earlier if they were that backed up. The woman wasn’t sympathetic what so ever. There are SOMANY asian restaurants in the area. DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEWITHTHESEPEOPLE. Absolutely awful service

This food was really bad I mean awful, and took almost 70+ min to arrive on a Weds evening. Nothing was prepared well. They have an extensive Asian fusion menu but they might need to focus on fewer items. The delivery man was kind and polite as was the person who took my order over the phone… beyond that this take-out experience was dismal at best.

Probably some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in Boston. I only ate here more than once out of pure convenience since it was down the street from my apartment at the time. My boyfriend and I went once and ordered sesame chicken and scallion pancakes. I asked if white rice came with the chicken which it did. The bill came to $ 40(with two waters) which I thought was absolutely absurd but with blind hunger fury and shock I swiped my card and bit my tongue. We then proceeded to wait almost an hour for the food to come out though we ordered in. There was one other person who ordered… The sesame chicken was sub par… Gray pieces of meat, some«pieces» that were more like crunchy deep friend bits of something or other smothered in sauce, and then a literal spoonful of rice. We powered through it nonetheless and regretted it on the walk home when we felt as if our intestines were filling with noxious gas(they were). A horrible sensation to experience after eating something. All in all a really poor experience at a really rich price. Boo!

my husband and I ordered wok n talk for takeout chinese food and were happy that the food arrived quickly and hot. I started with the hot and sour soup, which was surprisingly flavorful with tons of egg, mushrooms, and I believe bamboo shoots. the crab rangoon were crispy on the outside and creamy on the outside, and each piece of chicken teriyaki was on the large size, nice texture, and not at all dry. we also really liked the shrimp shumai, so overall you could say that we were happy with the appetizers. we also ordered the general gau’s chicken. it was semi-spicy, but we would have preferred a little more spice. some of the pieces of chicken tasted like chicken, but some of the smaller pieces were practically solid breading. it had some broccoli, but I do wish there had been a bit more. we also got fried rice, which while it was nice that it was on the lighter side, it was pretty underseasoned and could have used more vegetables and pork. the food is not the cheapest or best takeout chinese food I’ve ever had, but overall it was pretty good and I would order it again.

I wish I could give this place a negative rating!!! I ordered online and the ONLY thing correct was my miso soup! I called them and the person who answered the phone was very rude which annoyed me after my delivery man was quite rude(telling me I didn’t know my address). I had ordered a miso soup(which was hard or screw up!), a crab Rangoon which is labeled online as 4 pieces. We received a container with ONE Rangoon in it… Ordered 2 pad Thai(one with EXTRA shrimp) and both arrived with NO shrimp!!! I called and they told me that this NEVER happens and that they would need to come pick up my food to fix it– which it had already taken an hour to deliver it. The lady then called me SIX times telling me that she could«re-deliver» our food after they came over to pick up the orginal delivery — I informed them I did not want to wait another 2 hours! The woman told me that it was«impossible» that we had received ONE Rangoon after ordering am order of 4! I cannot wait to call back tomorrow and talk to someone new! Delivery

Wok n talk will forever be one of my most iconic memories of college living. I’ll never forget this place because of the monumental stomachaches it gave me. I lived literally next door(I could see friggin wok n talk from my window), and I actually looked forward to the grand opening of this place for almost a year before it opened. But to my disappointment it was just another crappy pseudo-asian food takeout place. That didn’t stop us from being tempted to order there at 2:30am in the winter, and boy did we suffer the consequences. My friend had some rancid broccoli beef, followed by volcanic diarrhea. Oh yeah, and they’re pricey for a takeout place. They’ll charge you 4 bucks for seaweed snacks that actually cost $ 1 at super88. It took me several trials and one case of vomit to finally stop eating here. Oh, I know it’s busy because it’s the only place with a parking spot, and in front of a bus station, and with coffee. The coffee is gross and the bubble tea is the cheapest tasting powder flavor with water and ice. I didn’t know you could f** up bubble tea, but there you have it. We endearingly nicknamed it «sh**ty wok»(south park reference). It became a running joke amongst my friends: «so pick your poison: sh*** wok, subway or josephs lol»
