A truly unique store, one of the last of it’s kind which carries a large inventory of electronic parts, for week-​end hobbyist to the everyday professionals. Much better quality of components than you can find on e-​bay and also very competitive prices. Pretty much if they don’t have it, then chances are you’re not gonna find it anywhere else. Might sound like a commercial, but this place saved me more than once, when i needed to get certain parts in a rush. The staff is also very knowledgeable, and patient even when you call them and have a question for them. Hope they’ll be around for a long time.

My dad and I have been going here for over 20 years, since before I could even see above the countertop. He would take me here on one of the many times he needed a part for a repair project of his… and till this day we are still dropping by to supply our need for electronic parts. Capacitors, transistors, breadboards, soldering equipment, you name it, Allstate has it. If you’re unsure, give them a call before you drop by and they will let you know about parts availability.
This place is everything that Radio Shack was, plus more. Truly a hidden gem that has been going strong for decades. Sure, you could find the parts you need online, but when you’re in a pinch and need to talk to a real person and buy what you need that same day, Allstate does not disappoint. Their prices are competitive too! Don’t let the outside of the place fool you, the guys inside know what they’re talking about!

I wish I knew of this place when I was in High School, it is one of the last of the old school electronic component stores, they even have vacuum tubes!!! I needed a breadboard and didn’t want to hit the local rip off rat shack, so If you need anything on the spot, for your projects or repairing anything, go in with a shopping list. I only wish I could stroll behind the counter and spend a month checking out every nook and cranny!
