Do not register for makeup classes with Blush Cosmetics Studio. The owner Nadia cancelled and promised to refund my money. Well to make a long story short, all communication ended and I still had not received my $ 250.00 over a month later. If not for the credit card company, I’d still be jerking around. After the initial emails promising a refund the next week, Nadia disappeared. Then I go online and it says the store is «permanently closed.» Can you say stiffed?
I will not be registering for anymore classes. I thought I’d be saving money compared to an actual cosmetology/makeup school. With the aggravation that wasn’t the case.
Furthermore, in these situations business owners should provide information such as a timeline for refunds. People can have a better idea when to expect their money instead of having to chase «business owners» down that disappear.

Not impressed. I got my lashes done and it was 5 individual lashes on each eye and she just put glue to line it but u can clearly see it was only 5 lashes. I took a shower and it clumped up so I had to remove the spider looking things. I paid 23.99 when I could of went to any nail salon and had them do it for cheaper. I’ve seen some of her makeup work and it looks good so I don’t know what’s going on with the eyelashes technique.

I was referred here by a friend… I did my lashes and eyebrows which I was totally satisfied with. My lashes looked so natural. This will definitely be my new spot. The prices weren’t bad either well worth the money.

So blush is located inside Jamaica bus terminal. As I was waiting my turn I saw a woman getting some black stuff which I assumed was makeup put on her eyebrows I wanted to tell her no stop please get brown there is nothing worse than harsh looking drawn on black eyebrows however I resisted that urge, and for 6 bucks I got my eyebrows threaded to my satisfaction the technician followed my very specific directions for not taking off too much while they did not come out perfect because perfect eyebrows are like finding 20 bucks on the sidewalk they are good and I’m still searching ! Oh and on a side note Blush has cosmetic too I have no idea how good they are but from the look of them they look like what you could find in any drug store.

I just moved to queens from LA & I was nervous about getting my brows done… I was pleasantly surprised. they only charge 6 dollars which is in line with my LA rates and the girl who did my brows was so gentle I wasn’t sure she was even threading. my brows came out so clean, and she actually darkened in my brows, unlike my other salon. so I went ahead and got the kit for 15 dollars and I absolutely love my brows… I will definitely be doing more business here. and the place is very cute to be in that bus terminal!
