Very disappointed by the service of this place. We came here to celebrate my cousin’s graduation but we all left with a really bad mood. There was a dumpster with a pole sticking out in the driveway as we were leaving and it broke our car’s window. The shattered glass pieces left cut marks on my cousin’s face. We immediately told the owner about the situation and he yelled at us instead saying«we did you a favor by moving the dumpster out of the way» which was AFTER the incident so what favor is this? He did not care to ask if we were okay or make up for it by letting us have our food for free(which wasn’t worth buying) AWFUL service.

Décor is tacky, food sucks, and management has the gall to blame their shortcomings regarding the parking lot issue on innocent customers. I went there once last year and that was enough for me– I’m pretty sure we were fed their leftover rice or something because it was hard and inedible. The rest of the dishes was subpar as well. They’re not the only Asian fusion/halal place in the area, there’s like 10 on hillside, so you’d think they would try a little harder

One star because I am mandated. Absolutely lacking in customer service. No accountability for any actions. In their eyes the customer is always wrong and to blame, something that should never be the case for a first time customer who is just trying to enjoy a family dinner. This establishment is embarrassing and should close down. Not to mention the tacky décor and smell that comes alongside. The food is also comes with soggy unflavored chicken. Apparently the owner is Bengali so I am shocked that the food has no seasoning or flavor. Embarrassing.

Come through if you want awful service from the manager and no accountability for their city violations! Also, I would recommend not to park in their parking lot — it’s on you if you have damages because of their negligence!

Someone told me the food was not so good, we ate their yesterday and so far the food was good. I had chicken manchurian and my wife had the masala chicken which was hit spicy she couldn’t eat it. Veg fried rice was ok, Sagar Chinese veg rice was better. As per price vey similar to Sagar but this place is bit inexpensive. We wanted to check out the catering menu because our event is coming up and spoke the owner who also does the cooking. He seemed ok but not so excited to help customer with their catering. Not sure if we will go with them. Service was slow and could have been better. I give this place 2 ½ stars but this place has potential to be better.

Few days ago a friend was treating our group here for her birthday. We ordered directly from the menu, no customization whatsoever. Yet after one hour, and three different people taking the same order, we didn’t have the main course. First they put a partial course on our table and then took it away because«it wasn’t our order». Then they put another partial and said it’s ours for sure, but this time we could see this is not what we ordered. We paid for the appetizers(we are not yet accustomed to not paying at all for bad service) and left. I am not going there again. Ever. FWIW, the chicken lollipop was good. But the shrimp in the soup was under-cooked.

This place was the utmost disgusting place I have ever been to. I asked for a cup of water and haven’t gotten it till 30 mins after. Asked for ice and She told me it will take her a while to get it. Like really? ICE. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. Food was decent but service sucks a lot. Nothing will change my decision. I would give them half of a star but the review only allows me one star!

The food was very good, it is tasty. However the time sucks, I ordered on the phone so I could go pick it up. They said 25 minutes, I got there 30 minutes later and it still wasn’t ready. I still had to wait another 20 minutes. If you are ordering just do it well in advance… The food is good so its probably worth it…

We had a very high expectations for this restaurant. I love desi style Chinese food, but unfortunately their food was a total disappointment. We ordered thai soup(this was the only thing we liked), hot and sour soup(tasted awful), fried rice, lollipop chicken(tasted like uncooked raw batter), tiger prawns, sizzling beef, sweet and sour chicken. The tiger prawns had too much salt in it, so we sent it back and got a replacement. The sweet and sour chicken had a very foul smell to it, but we were too tired to ask for another replacement. Jamaica Hillside has many other restaurants choices. I would definitely go to other places instead going here in the future.

Fried rice was decent and the portion was just about right. I would come back for it but as far as fried noodle was not as good as I expected and was even more expansive than fried rice. At least our server was friendly and nice, so gives this place 3 and a half star.

Horrible horrible service provided by the hostess/waitress. Had to wait for a piña colada, which I ended up cancelling. The waitress was rude for every time an order was placed by any of the customers. Would definitely not be coming here again.

Whenever we visit New York we look forward to eating here. Everything we’ve tried is good especially love their lollipop chicken and hot & sour soup. Recommend to all looking for yummy Indian style Chinese food.

The environment is pretty good compared to other places in the neighborhood. But this is not a Thai place, its a Indian/Bengali style Chinese restaurant. The appetizers are ok, lollipop chicken was made a little burnt but still had flavor. Chang pai sizzling prawn is probably their best dish and its tastes decent. The fried rice items are not so but they come in big portions. I like the way the food is presented, they have the sizzling sound fresh off the kitchen. Overall this is a decent place to go if you’re hungry and you don’t want to go far from this neighborhood. Also the prices are reasonable.

Solid food. A good combination of salty and spicy. The fried rice is both savory and not too oily. The chicken is well cooked in all its permutations and the price is quite reasonable.

Worst pad Thai ever. The portion is big but very bland. No taste what so ever. This is an embarrassment to cuisine. It took an hour to deliver. My mango lasso I’ve tasted better. I hate places that put no effort into giving quality food. The only thing that was okay was the lollipop chicken. Who can mess up on fried chicken? My beef from pad Thai tasted like steak pieces with no seasoning. Will never waste my money or time there. I hope they find a new chef or close the shit down. No stars. They deserve a ZErO.

Pretty Mediocre Indian Halal Chinese. This is NOT Thai. Perhaps, the sign should be edited. A lot of rice on the menu. I have been here 4 times just because its located near my job. Staple Items: Shrimp Balls(Very Hot), Mango Lassi Drink, Chicken Fried Rice with chicken wing. The Corn soup is served with each lunch special. It tastes like Egg Drop soup with corn chowder. Pretty tasty. The design of the restaurant is simple. Nothing to write home about. Service is slow with 1 waitress &1 buss girl.

Incredibly tacky décor(it felt like I was in some sleazy night club/strip club), and the food is mediocre at best.

Chang Pia Fried Rice is even better than those I have tried in Flushing or LA or China or anywhere else. Lollipop chicken is good too. Service seems much colder than the food.

Absolute worst. I have never given a negative review, but if you go buy frozen Chinese food it will be better. This is not thai by any sense. The chili chicken was like general tso with chili pepper sauce. The worst. No atmosphere. Avoid like the plague.
