Been coming here for years love the great selection and freshness of seafood. They even clean a whole fish for you if youre willing to wait a few. Theres also a good srlection of seasonings and batters avail for purchase.

This place is as good as King Fish Market nearby, the price is generally similar and it is cleaner and less busy here. This place sometimes has something really hard to find: I just got a 3 pound trigger fish, which I have never seen in New York before.

Almost next door to the bigger King Fish, Corner Fish still offers an amazing array of whole, filleted and live seafood. It’s slightly less busy and so if you like a less hectic shopping environment, this may be the better fishmonger for you.
However, it also has an extra touch — at the entrance, there’s a stand selling fried fish. I suppose you can’t get fresher ingredients! I had a packet of fried fish and assorted seafood. The freshness of the produce came through nicely.
