Best Chinese take out restaurant. I have been going there since I was a child and they never disappoint any time. Their delivery system is quick and simple. If you call to pickup or delivery speak clear because of the noise behind the counter. It’s a reliable and respectful environment. Once you enter you don’t want to leave. I love their general tso and the noodles.

The general tso’s bean curd is really good and they always cook the broccoli how I like it.

My family ordered Chinese take out from Foo On Chinese Food restaurant for over 10 years now. And I can speak for all of us in saying that in terms of take out, Foo On does the job. Foo On’s menu is typical. Consists of various take out foods including General Tso’s Chicken, fried chicken, beef and brocolli, etc. The taste is average, nothing special. And the prices have increased over the years, but is still cheaper than most take out places you find in Queens/NYC. You have the choice of dining in as well, but I don’t recommend it. There are four booth tables inside, each cleaned at the beginning of the workday. They have almost failed health inspections twice. So if you’re looking for a cheap take out place, go ahead with Foo on. But know that it’s just typical take out at best.

Foo-on is a restaurant where I commonly dine with friends. This store is your everyday Chinese food restaurant serving up American and Chinese-American dishes such as fried chicken, fried rice, and beef with broccoli. The food here is on par with many other take-out joints but their stir-fried dishes are quite good. The General Tso’s chicken dish is always well-cooked and very crispy; a definite plus in my book. The store itself is very straightforward in design. You order your food, pick it up, and leave. There are also some seating options for those that wish to dine-in. There are no added entertainment options such as television or music systems but the sounds in the kitchen and the chatter between the staff actually adds a nice, comfortable touch to the atmosphere. However, the temperature in the store gets really hot during the summer so watch out for that. In this area, there aren’t many options for Chinese take-out, but you could pay a visit to Foo-On Chinese Food Restaurant when you’re in the area craving Chinese-American food.

Alright so I’ve been coming to Foo On all of my life. Everything was great. The food was good, made in a timely manner and had huge portions. I wouldn’t change anything. I would have given them a 5 However, a couple of years ago they changed management. And when it happened, everything took a turn for the worst. The food wasn’t as good and my orders were wrong on occasion. And then just recently I found a COCKROACH in my order of General Tso’s chicken. I posted a picture of the bug. Check it out and get grossed out. Okay, so I was eating my food and about halfway through I see a something black in it. And that’s when I realized what it was. I gagged for a few minutes and went immediately back. I demanded a refund. It was a good thing my friend who spoke FJ was there to translate what they were saying. They almost didn’t give me my money back saying I ate most of it. DOYOUBELIEVETHAT!!! They’re lucky I didn’t announce what I had found in my food in front of all the customers. They ended up giving my money back. I am never going back and neither are any of my friends or family. They are lucky I didn’t report them because I felt bad for the immigrant workers.
