I love this place for delivery, they are awesome, I love their Grandma pizza, it’s the best and as always they deliver the food very fast and warm plus very fresh. They have very nice band helpful staff and very efficient, I also love their garlic knots it’s the best! I prefer to do delivery on this place, the only thing that I don’t like in this place is their ambiance other than that they rock. When the guys deliver my favorite pizza which is the grandma pizza, it’s always very tasty and crunchy and so fresh. Love this place when I don’t feel like eating out.

Excellent pizza! I get take out from here. Once in a while I eat in but not during the school year since its crowded with students right after school or during lunchtime. The delivery is right on. 20 – 25 minutes at the most depending on the size of your order. Definitely recommend this place

Love all their food. Every time you go into the pizzeria, they have some awesome new combo of toppings to try, and the slices are always fresh! When you get the food delivered — it’s just always good — cheesy, saucy, and great amount of toppings if you get toppings! Their antipasto salad is great, and so is their sauteed brocccoli — yum! The garlic knots are just piled high with fresh garlic and they’re juicy — not dried out! I have also catered trays of italian food from them for parties — highly recommend penne alla vodka with chicken, sausage and peppers! HOWEVER… when you call for a delivery… THEYNEEDTOHAVESOMEONEWHOSPEAKSANDUNDERSTANDSENGLISHVERYWELLTOANSWERTHEPHONEANDTAKETHEORDERS! I actually don’t like being the one to call for the order because I have to keep repeating my address over and over I will say«80th street» and the guy is like«86th street» then I will go «eight-zero street» and he will say«what?» and I will say«eighty street — eight zero» and then I get«oh, 88 street?» THISHASBEENGOINGONFORYEARS! If you can deal with that when you call for a delivery — then the rest of it is good!

Easily spotted from Atlantic Ave, the Luigi name spurred a memory. Something to the effect that the regular slices of pizza were very good, and they were. Sweet sauce and quality mozzarella cheese, well balanced and in harmony on top of a sturdy thin crust. Slices priced exactly as I had been expecting walking in, but it was early and my presence wasn’t well received. Lots of grunting and groaning fur a simple slice, grated Parmesan really gave the counter man the blues. He slid my slice at me with a hint of aggressive aggression, me late wrist twist of skill to throw me off, add a steely glare and i was on my way out. Too bad, the pizza was quite enjoyable.

With immense struggle from abject pain due to recent major surgery, I make the trek to Luigi’s Pizza for lunch of either pasta or an entrée. I did not want pizza. Cheese Ravioli $ 8.00 was swimming in too much Marinara sauce. The Ravioli is huge therefore the quantity is about six pieces. I prefer smaller pieces and larger quantity on my plate. Fresh and served piping hot with Italian bread. Portion was rather small. I was eyeing the entrée platters and other pasta on their wall menu. The Chicken Marsala was extremely enticing to my stomach but unfortunately not to my budget as it was $ 12.50. I would like to return for it though. Staff is fluent in Spanish and English. Oddly the Italian language is not present despite of the business name clearly emit Italian. A local pizzeria with traditional old fashioned pizzeria booths. Recent renovations of both interior and façade has clean-up the poor physical presentation. Note: CASHONLY. No credit or debit cards accepted in any shape, color or format.

Didn’t eat anything today and drove past this place on my way home. I was starving and wanted to love this pizza as everyone else on the reviews does. It was a solid 3.5 stars. Good but not great. I would not go out of my way to come back. I had a plain slide that was ok. The sauce needed more flavor. Cheese was an ok amount, and the size was average I suppose. The BBQ chicken slice was better. Tasty but not blown away. The garlic knots did look good, but I can’t eat so much flour at once.

Hands down, the best pizzeria/restaurant in the neighborhood. Not only is their pizza excellent, their food rivals most Italian restaurants around. They use high quality ingredients. Good prices, friendly staff, quick and always consistently good.

Been going there for about 30 years. I stopped going during school time because they would have 10 kids per table and only 1 eating pizza too noisy

Lived two blocks away from Luigi’s all my life. Been coming here since I can remember. The pizza has always been good. The place overall has gotten better since they renovated it. I love the buffalo chicken slice they have, it is AMAZING.

I’ve always walked or drove by the Luigi’s pizza but never walked in. The name Luigi reminded me of Mario brothers so I never took it seriously. I was in the neighborhood and hungry so I decided to try out the place. Its not a fancy place and looks like a standard borough pizzeria but they had a lot of different pizza’s available. I thought they would only have plain cheese like most places but thats not the case. They had all sorts of pizza and rolls available. I got the BBQ chicken slice and it was awesome. I am not easy to please but this slice hit the spot and I was going to buy a second but I on a diet. This place won me over and I will be checking it out again.

Whenever I go to my boyfriend’s home I ask him to go get garlic knots and a chicken caesar salad from this place. I LOVE how they always have the garlic knots on point(they’re soft and they have enough garlic). Everything in their menu is delicious. I highly recommend this pizzeria

Luigi’s pizza is really good. I was honestly surprised of how good there pizza was considering that there is a high school so close to this pizza place and a lot of people go here. Usually, when that happens, pizzeria’s water down there pizza. But not Luigi’s! There pizza is so good! I come to Luigi’s every chance I get. It’s yummy, go for it!

I was pleasantly surprised on my recent visit here. I was a first timer at Luigi’s and could see that it was super busy. I tried a whole wheat slice which was really good. They also had this grandma sausage mushroom slice which was just as good. Something about the crust at Luigi’s is what makes this pizza really good. I will definitely be going back.

You surprised me Luigi’s. I grew up in this neighborhood and I remember this place with a different name. The pizza was blah nothing to write home about. Fast forward to now and I had the opportunity to try this place under the worst of circumstances. My car broke down right off the Jackie Robinson Parkway off Metropolitan Ave and I was stranded. My husband and my dad came to sit with me until the tow truck came and my dad came with some pizza from this place. Super good! The sauce is a little sweet and the crust is crisp with cornmeal and perfectly cooked. It soothed my sadness about my broken down car. We tried this place again to be sure that the pizza was good and it surely was. Definitely a place I will hit up often.

They say that you tend to love the pizza that you grew up with. This might be the case for me, but I’m more than a fan of this pizzeria. It used to be called Bella Rosa when I was growing up, and management changed over five years ago. But their selection has grown to the point where there’s something for everybody. Every pizzeria has garlic knots or pepperoni rolls, but this place takes it a step further with its spinach twists. At about a foot long, these thin crispy chewy sticks of goodness offer you more veggies than you’re used to getting at a pizzeria. Along with marinara sauce for dipping, these make a great snack. The pizza itself is probably slightly above average, some of the best in my opinion(but I’m biased because this is what I’m used to). I love the beef patties with mozzarella cheese too. Their pasta selection is pretty decent and quite tasty as well. They also have a great sandwich selection as well as a kickass chicken panini which is really grilled chicken breast on an over-sized garlic knot. This place is great for a quick bite. So stop by and try a spinach twist!
