They have most of the latest shoes here the problem is everything is full price. There is no reason to go out of your way to come here when you can pay full price anywhere else

Please Read!!! I was highly disappointed by this store. This store is no longer a down in the basement store. they now have a store front in the main level of the coliseum mall. their grand opening party was 8÷10÷13. they had a lot of great shoes for display and on sale for retail price, as claimed on their price tags. I asked them if I can buy and they said they weren’t selling today, come back tomorrow and it will be retail. I come back 8÷11÷13 and waited 2 hours in front of the store believing that I was going to get a great deal because 2 of their employees told me that everything was retail. the mall opened at 12pm and they didn’t open the main floor moes, so I went downstairs to ask. now they said they wont open the main floor today and come back tomorrow and it will definitely be for retail. I come back 8÷12÷13 and now they said nothing is for retail and the marked up price is $ 350 to $ 400 for the shoes I wanted to buy. the price tag stickers were removed. THEYREASSUREDMEFOR3DAYSTHAT I WILLGETITATRETAILANDTHENLIEDTOME. its not like this store is close to where I live, the drive is about 20 minutes for 3 days. that’s 2 hour of driving roundtrip, about 80 miles of gas and tear and wear wasted because of fraudulent selling tactics. should have told me from grand opening that prices weren’t at retail even though you had a nike account for over 20 years. I saw some decent pair of sneakers here too I can’t lie. I will try to pick up some relatively inexpensive new kicks one day soon. Not the zany crazy colors some of these kids wear somedays. I entered a contest here to win sneakers for a year from 92.3FM, maybe I win. Maybe not and I still come here and buy the $ 70 Jordans.

Good selection of GR and some QS sometimes. Jamaica aint my steez to cop kicks, but definitely went out there to pick up some QS. The girls are friendly and the cashier dude is cool. They got another spot upstairs on the main level of the Colesium. Holla

Lives pretty well up to the rep. Def a good selection of sneakers and new releases, even released before the scheduled release date.

I don’t think it lives up to the rep but it’s deserving of some sort of rep. For it’s size, Moe’s has a good variety. And the prices aren’t bad. Still, the showroom is only about 500 square ffeet, with shoes lining the walls. They had some some hard-to-find stuff here. Its not for Nike fans. Try Alife for that.

I’m as far from a sneaker geek as you’ll ever meet. All right, that might be a bit of an exaggeration. I can still remember my pair of navy blue Fila tennis shoes. They cost me $ 85(an arm and a leg at the time), when I was in the 8th grade, and I paid for them with my own money. But the thing is that I rarely spend money in boutique sneaker shops. I usually go in, reminisce about the good olé days, and quickly and quietly exit with nothing to show for myself. That all changed today. Not only did I go in and buy a cool pair of sneakers, I rode my bike all the way out to Jamaica, Queens. Moe’s Sneaker Spot is located in what looks like the outdoor mall where everyone and anyone who lives in the neighborhood comes to get things that range anywhere from a slice of pizza to a plunger. Inside this throwback to the outdoor strip plazas of yesteryear is an actual mall that has fallen into a strange sort of disarray that could only exist in this provincial corner of NYC. To say the Jamaica Coliseum Mall is a relic from another era, is a major understatement, but I did a bit of comparison-shopping and the prices at JCM are far lower than the stores in Manhattan. I guess that should come as a no brainer but I was more than shocked with the difference in price. Moe’s Sneaker Spot was no different. Moe’s price point seemed to be on average about $ 10-$ 15 dollars cheaper than most boutique sneaker shops I’ve visited in the recent past, and there selection is beyond reproach. They carry shoes that I haven’t seen anywhere other than the Internet. The staff is friendly, without being annoying and really knowledgeable about hard to find sneakers. It’s almost a shame to not keep the secret that is Moe’s Sneaker Spot to myself. For the record, I don’t necessarily recommend riding a bicycle out to Jamaica. Jamaica is a hell of hike, but do make your way out to Moe’s. It’s worth the trip.
