This place had the potential to be a great business, the first year it was great, food was great and service was great too, I don’t know is they switch management but the new manager(a woman, I’m sorry to say so) has absolutely no manners at all. The girls out and behind the counter obey her to the most ridiculous orders from her. To give you an example, last week I requested a avocado with my order, to this, she said no, when I ofered to pay for a full avocado her answer was that it will take 15 minutes to bring it!!! Just so that I would desist asking for it!!! Super rude, super unprofessional, the lady who was serving me actually apologize for her boss. It’s been a week and a half since the bathroom has been broken, how long it takes for a restaurant to fix their bathroom? The food is not bad at all but don’t you dare asking for«a bit more of this or that» when the manager is there. My best friend got charged a $ 1.50 for an extra spoon of rice… So sad a good place has to go bad under bad management, many of my colleagues(we work at Queens S. court) think the same as they have experienced the terrible costumer service the manager brings to the place. Want good food and a pleasant time? Pass by after she is gone in the afternoons or very early before she shows up. Kkchema

The official Jury Duty lunch! Delicious, affordable with ample portions! I opted for the plate with chicken, rice and plantains… was not disappointed! Although seating is limited, staff is extremely friendly and food is good enough to make a trip back even if you’re not summoned.

Literally my favorite place to eat during my lunch break. I love the fact that every day they have different foods so you never get tired of eating the same thing over and over again. Plus Im Colombian so i love the food regardless. The ladies there are nice and accomodating. Its a small place and it usually gets packed during lunch hours due to the fact its right in front of the courts. But i go nonetheless. The price for the buffet is cheap 6.50 and 850 with soup. Overall, the place is clean. I have not had a complaint about it since i started going there regularly.

Came in During lunch for Jury Duty –I was Greeted by a young lady asking if I’m taking out or would like to be seated. Seating was idea. She took my order and I waited about 15mins for food –Lunch Rush is big from the court house so try to get here early or order for pick up . Food Is Colombian style, fresh pastries and goods . Try the Juices too. Amazing place for a quick bite to eat.

Nice little quaint spot with a variety of good stuff to eat. The staff is very friendly and nice. Brought some empanadas and they were good. Nothing to complain about.

Pretty decent food. A lunch special — tilapia with rice and one side plus a soup of your choice is $ 8.50. Pretty decent. I would not recommend the empanadas, they are oily and I have tried the cheese and it upset my stomach. I literally can squeeze the oil out of the empanada, that is horrific otherwise, the staff is friendly and the place is beautiful and the food is generally good and well presented!

They offered the delivery and asked how far is it… When i responded itsls 1 mile they sent someone on foot to deliver the food… I find this inconsiderate on their part for 40 degree weather. The food was naturally cold when i received it. After i chose to pick up my food in a random corner the delivery man waited for me on because he(in not fault of his own) could not find me. The empanadas were old and hard, the chorizo is probably the most greasy chorizo ive ever had from a Colombian spot. Everything else i had to heat up and the taste did not captivate my taste buds as i am used to from colombian food. Never again… Would complain but did not do so for the sake of the delivery mans job.

This place has the advantage of being one of the very few restaraunts in the neighborhood.(I dont personally count Popeyes or McDonalds as restaurants.) It happenes to be a mixed residential/business area. It is surrounded by two courts and office buildings. That said, options for lunch are somewhat limited. So far I have eaten here four times. It’s clean, has adequate seating arrangements and the girls who work here are really nice and helpful. As for the food, good Columbian food, delicious. On one occassion I ordered baked chicken, avocado and yucca and some seafood rice. The next time I had a salad, pork chops, rice and peas. I had some chicken soup to go. Barbecue chicken, yellow rice, plantains, everthing was very tasty, not to mention fast despite the lines. The bread is amazing. Yummy, I could pack on pounds just looking at it. Did I mention reasonable? The prices are nice. I am happy to welcome this new business to the neighborhood. I think it’s peachy to finally have something other than fast food chains if you have to eat on the go.
