Sure, food’s great, service is iffy. I go in all the time since I live a block away and it’s the only decent food place by me. I often take my food to go because service takes quite a while. What I am mostly unappreciative about is the fact that a day before I witnessed the cashier allow someone(I guess she knew) charge her card meanwhile there is a supposed«$ 10» minimum and give her the change. This all made so much sense to me until I asked for the same treatment the following day. I still don’t understand why this same thing couldn’t be done for me. Instead I literally stayed in the place for ten extra minutes trying to make my $ 1 and 78 cents. Totally embarrassing for myself and the establishment, considering I am a faithful customer who comes by every other day. I cannot deal with the mistreatment. I always feel judged stepping in here and it’s not as peace-loving and open as it lets on.

Gosh I love this place. I came here for the atmosphere rather than the food. The food is just an added bonus. The women who work here are so beyond sweet and they wear traditional Sari’s which I think is so cute. I came out of this place feeling super relaxed and at peace. Just a great place to be especially if you’re in need of some mental peace! I can’t wait to come back. I think this may be my new study spot once the semester begins. Please visit when you can!

This place is a hidden gem. It takes you to another place. The food is good, it’s the perfect relaxing café. I can sit here for hours and keep ordering. Everyone that works there is also very friendly. I know I will be coming back over and over again.

Just had the Mediterranean Omelet. The«small side salad» was not that small. That’s a good thing. It was fresh and good as was the omelet. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon, so it was empty and super relaxing. I imagine the weekends are far busier even though this place is off the beaten path. This place has a Buddist, Zen, Sri Chimney thing going on, so if you like that, you’ll love this place. I’m sure all the dishes are very good. The staff is quiet, dedicated and polite. So, after my first visit, high marks.

Pretty cool place. The food is good. Very Zen environment. We went on what seemed like a religious holiday so the place was pretty busy; barely found a place to sit. The service wasn’t all that great but cant blame them. They knew it would be busy and offered their customers a coupon for their next visit.

This café will prove you wrong if you didn’t think vegan food could be good. It’s quite delicious here! I came here with 2 friends on Saturday around 10am and we managed to find seating in the back. We sat at a short legged table where we have to take off our shoes and sit on cushions which was a different and enjoyable experience from your regular café. I ordered the dandelion latte and the chia porridge. The dandelion latte was okay. If you’re in the mood for a simple drink without much flavor, this is the one. Otherwise, order another drink. I got to try the matcha hot chocolate which was really good. If you love matcha with a hint of chocolate, you’ll like this. The chia porridge was delicious! Great healthy breakfast to start the day.

Totally what I was looking for. My coworker and I went here for breakfast on our drive from JFK to Stamford. We both ordered raspberry lattes which were delicious. I picked this restaurant for their vegan and vegetarian options, and thoroughly enjoyed my wrap with avocados and tomatoes. They have eggs also for non vegans. The place was very busy but had comfortable seating with a nice fresh incense burning in the air. I will be back next time I pass through Queens. #vegan.

Sensational! Having just moved to the area I was looking for a café that was not a chain. I couldn’t be happier when i found this café. The staff there were so friendly. They introduced themselves by name, asked me mine and then went on to tell me about the café and its specials. I ordered an iced coffee and a panini. Both were great. This is the kind of place i could go a few times a week, and sit around chatting with friends or even the staff. It has that comfortable and welcoming feeling that will make you wan to go back again and again. You must try this place! you won’t be disappointed.

How is this place 1 mile away from me and I’ve only been here once?! This place offers quality food. I had only the chia seed porridge and a juice and I was sold. I had never had anything with mulberries so it was an extra-intriguing experience. I need to come back here again!

I would rate this café four and a half stars. The atmosphere is tranquil. There is plenty of space and seating. They even have some pillow seating. There are some Buddhists pieces throughout. The service was quite friendly. There are plenty of perks. Outlets throughout. Free wifi. There is a big speaker and drop down projector for special events. There were about two dozens loose leaf teas along. There was a large menu of food for a café.

A true Gem in this part of town. Excellent customer service, many delicious options and the very best latte I’ve ever had and it was vegan!!! Dandelion latte yum yum. Super relaxing and welcoming establishment. Highly recommend.

Randomly stumbled upon this place while in the area. It’s so relaxing and earthy in here. Nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee. The owner is really nice and friendly too. We tried the dandelion latte, which is an alternative to coffee but has a coffee taste. It was surprising good and I ended up getting an extra cup of it to go. The food was very fresh and healthy too. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area.

Omg. So good. I was skeptical about the chicken wrap at first because it’s vegan and not real chicken, but it was so crispy and delicious! And that matcha hot chocolate… Droolsssss.

What a great place to stumble upon! I was certain I would end up eating something unpleasant, as I’m waiting for my car to be serviced on hillside; low & behold, I found this place on Unilocal, and it is beyond expectations. A peaceful setting, delicious & organic food– definitely worth the walk up the hill!

I love this place. The surrounding is amazing. Such an ambient place that is colorful and welcoming. There is a family feel to it since it’s a local spot that shows its history and family through their pictures. The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcoming. They are nice and genuinely polite. There is a little bit of wait but that’s only because everything is natural and fresh. The egg and cheese on a croissant was decent but nothing special. The smoothie is to DIE for. I got the banana berry blast one and it was the most natural and delicious smoothie I’ve had. In fact, I got three of them because they were so good. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast/brunch and will be returning the next time I’m in the area.

I finally made it to Panorama Café after having the coffee shop bookmarked for over a year. What really summoned me to visit the establishment was reading reviews about how the place seemed wholesome and spiritually inspired. The reviews were right. Panorama Café literally emanates peace and light. Being here for an hour will make you feel like you’re in a cozy nook somewhere in the Himalayas. The experience had me feeling like I was Brad Pitt in the film Seven Years in Tibet. The employees are clad in beautiful sari-like clothing and have such a sweet disposition and friendly demeanor. I later realized that the great service and caring attitudes of the servers are inspired, in part, by the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, a spiritual-leader who preached peace and love. The décor is highly inspired by his teachings, and his quotes are creatively scattered throughout the establishment. According to their menu, every food item comes from a wholesome background. Most of their food is fair-trade, locally sourced, organic, and some items are even made on premisis(like their cashew milk). The establishment really appeals to vegans and vegetarians, but there are also menu options that include eggs and meat. We decided to sit in a little corner off to the back of the café that featured lots of ornate throw pillows and a low-lying table so that you could comfortably sit on the floor. I ordered a large matcha latte with home-made cashew milk($ 3.50) and a raw salted caramel square($ 3.00). My matcha latte was pleasantly foamy and creamy. It was also perfectly sweetened and had me wishing they offered an even larger size. My raw caramel square was bursting with flavor. The bitterness of the raw cacao frosting played nicely with the sweetness of the fig filling and salty notes of the almond crust. My cousin ordered an egg croissant with onions and a red velvet latte. She explained that the espresso in her latte was nice and strong, and that her croissant sandwich was warm and tasty. We will most definitely be back!

This place seems like a hidden gem in the midst of chaos. The café has an all around unique feel. Zen like ambiance, humble and informative staff. Everything here has been well thought out with a purpose to emulate comfort & peaceful atmosphere. The café menu gives a small bio to honor the café’s inspiration Sri Chinchoy. Panorama café makes it their mission to uphold and preserve Chinchoy’s life pursuit of world peace. I visited this Panorama with my foodie ‘partner in dine’ who is vegetarian. Panorama has mainly has vegetarian options, with some vegan options as well. The food was great. I chose to order a croissant egg & cheese and added onions to the egg. I was torn between the Panorama Latte and the Red Velvet Latte and the friendly associate helped me decide on the winner; the Red Velvet Latte! The croissant was nicely soft and that great croissant buttery taste. The Red Velvet latte was excellent — the espresso taste was present but not overpowering the raspberry & chocolate flavor in it. We sat towards the back of the café, on a floor seated table surrounded by pillows. This back table really completed our experience here. Once seated we got comfortable and could have stayed for hours if we didn’t have things to do that day. Panorama Café has a great wide range menu to fulfill anyones craving. I’d classify this place as a safe haven — peaceful intimate getaway location with of course good food and great coffee!

I love this place! Such a unique beauty, I would’ve never expected this to be right on Parsons blvd. My food was great. I also had a smoothie. Very fresh and delicious. Fast friendly service. I’ll definitely be going there from time to time. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience.

I visit this adorable café at least twice a week and every time I do the food is amazing & the service is excellent! I’m always greeted with a smile when I enter. My favorite dish is the chia porridge. Its made with fresh cashew milk(made on premises), chia seeds and sweetened with fresh berries. I also recommend the watermelon mint juice. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I have my entire family hooked on this place. Their soups are very good, I haven’t had one I didn’t like yet! If your feeling rundown you must have the detox juice with all the veggies your body needs to help repair itself. The seating in the back is very cool. They also have a great selection of healthy books to read while you dine in.

My second time here, and both times I’ve been amazed. Their menu is healthy, organic, and offers a variety of things you’ve probably never even tried before.(The chia porridge is heaven! My boyfriend had a breakfast wrap and that was delicious too. — I’ve never tried pesto on eggs before.) The environment is casual and quiet. The café is dedicated to their spiritual guru. I actually bought a book on meditation from this café. So far, it’s a great read.

First off love the décor of this place with it’s mix and match table sets and the meditation seating in the back. Now back to the food I had a Tuscan ciabatta(scrambled eggs, tomato, spinach and pesto) which was good but kind of bland but it was very filling. I also had the red velvet latte which was strong. I think this place is very good for breakfast and grabbing a quick coffee or smoothie.

This place is a diamond in the ruff and an oasis in the badlands of queens. I stumbled in here before a job I had and tried their chia porridge with thai iced tea. Phenomenal! Just came here for breakfast and had a fantastic meal. This is a vegetarian non-descript location in Queens, and was a really great find. Really great Tuscan Eggs with Pesto and Side Salad, along with Coffee with Almond Milk. The reason for 4(or really 4.5) stars was that the vegan chicken was not that great. But mixing it in the side salad and pesto made it fine. The ambience and service is absolutely excellent. Relaxing ambience, like I’m sitting in a yoga retreat in Nepal or Burma. I’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful find! Amidst the hustle and frenzy of Jamaica, I stepped into another serene world. My visit to the Bronx was somber; the wake and funeral of a dear friend. This café was a godsend, maybe literally. So peaceful, calm and inviting. Okay, yes, the food… Excellent latte; I assume all the other coffees are good as well. They have sandwiches, wraps and pastries; vegan and not. The people working here add as much to the serenity as anything else. So, if you’re in need of some peace and nourishment, I recommend this place!

This is one of the very few places in Jamaica that serve top notch coffee. The many lattes I’ve had have been consistently pulled to perfection. The chia porridge has to be one of the most unusual but really great breakfasts one can find in Queens. The chicken caesar salad is an absolute delight for lunch that fills you up but doesn’t weigh you down for the afternoon. I’ve also caught some unusually brilliant live music there. It’s not a consistent thing so you have to keep your eye out for it, but there have been some incredibly talented musicians whose work perfectly matches the brightness of the café.

Panorama Café has been around for a while now, and I’ve brought many friends and visiting family there over the years. Everyone loves it. In a neighborhood where just a few years ago Dunking Donuts was your only option for anything beyond drip coffee, Panorama was a heaven for coffee lovers like me. Glad to say that I can compliment this Café beyond this comparison! Their latte stands up to any Brooklyn or Manhattan coffee shop I’ve been to, and their(non-La Marzocco but) Italian machine is an absolute jewel! Not sure which beans they currently use — at some point they used Gimme! coffee but I believe they opted for an Egyptian bean instead. Regardless, I am consistently impressed with the quality of their latte and fun specialty drinks. Then there is the food — I’ve tried most items over the years. Recently they’ve upgraded the granola to a home-made base with blueberry sauce on the side(!). Just perfect. Besides the Chia seed pudding and other raw food and vegan items they also have savory wraps to go with freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juices. All vegetarian, and if you like salad, the Chicken Caesar is fantastic. I’ve met the owner a few times while I was there, everyone is super friendly and they really seem to love what they’re doing. I wish more places in Queens would have the same happy, calm and relaxed vibe.

I started sweating a bit as I drove down to kinda sorta the part of queens I tend to avoid aka the pretty much ghettos of south queens.(No offense x. x). I was very pleasantly surprised though when I stepped into the coolest damn namaste-everywhere café ever. It is sooooo clean here!!! The staff are all dressed in a traditional outfit which I thought was super cool, and made me feel comfortable in my own skin actually. Very relaxed and at home. They offer a small menu but great option for a healthy lunch or breakfast. There were salads, normal breakfast items, wraps, smoothies, and a great selection of loose teas(totally up my alley!). The chicken here is vegetarian chicken, not too bad but it does taste like tofu. I enjoyed my yogurt & granola. It’s in a mostly milky base. Very healthy and very filling. I got my own tea pot when i ordered a tea. You take a number and sit down to wait for your food to arrive. Excellent service, dirt cheap for quality food. This isn’t quite 5 stars but definitely 4.5. Although very good I was floored by their food. It’s homemade and may not appeal to everyone’s tastes 100%. It’s still a fantastic option for a quick, and comfortable brunch date!

Just go and enjoy. The food the environment the staff it’s all good. Food was so fresh and delicious. I wanted to stay and try everything. I live about 35 minutes away in Brooklyn without traffic but I wouldn’t let that stop me from returning and nothing should stop you from visiting. Food. I had the chia porridge, oat and fig bar, and the watermelon mint juice. All 5 stars. The watermelon juice was incredibly refreshing and tasty. Go.
