I was referred to the salon by one of my friends. I’ve been getting weaves for over 10 years and I’ve never been so satisfied and pleased with my hair then I am now. When I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and taken right away. The stylists were all friendly and welcoming. Simone was my stylist, and she made me look fabulous!!! Everyone has been complimenting me on my hair and asking me where I got my hair done. Simone made my weave look so real and blended it so well that my boyfriend really thought my hair was 18inches long. Lol. Anyways. I highly recommend this salon. Excellent work and an outstanding staff. I will definitely be back in the future and I’ve already have friends making appointments.

I went here a couple of years ago because they were highly recommended and i was greatly disappointed. I had a consultation with Sabrina and she didn’t show up. I made another appt. and this time she was late and preoccupied with things other than a potential client. Despite my reservations(big mistake) I made an appt. to get my hair done and again she wasn’t there. She was going to be a couple of hours late. I had my hair braided by someone else and left. I returned on another day to get my hair done. As usual I had to wait and she spent so much time on the phone that I felt that I was intruding on her life. I didn’t feel this was a professional way to deal with clients, there was little to no exchange and the one thing I can say is that she did a good job cutting my hair but other than that it was an aggravating experience. She makes you wait in person and to return calls or emails. It’s shouldn’t be that exhausting to get some attention when you are paying for someone’s service. I would never go back. Even with a good cut it wasn’t worth it.

I went to this salon for quite awhile… Sabrina was my hair stylist and she did an out standing job on my hair each time. I mean she was great at cutting, perming, sewing, you name it she was great at it! The problem with Sabrina is that she is unreliable, a bit confrontational, and she is the slowest working stylist that my friends and I have ever come across. Sabrina takes years to do your hair, she is never on time for appointments and if you are lucky enough that she is already at the salon for your appointment, be prepared for your whole day to be taken up with her talking on the phone, texting, eating, taking her sweet time to finish your hair. I mean she really works slow, and this is from years of experience, and I know about 10 people that once went to Sabrina but all of them stopped because she lacked professionalism. In addition to that she chooses to go up and down on prices whenever she pleases. One week you could pay $ 85 and the next week you will pay $ 100, for the exact hair style, and she just decides it whenever she pleases. Sabrina is a great stylist and I would never take that away from her but she is not worth the money and time being that there are a million other great stylist in that salon and in new york that don’t take forever to do your hair and won’t go up and down on prices just because they feel like it. You can not rely on Sabrina if you have made an appointment with her or if you are a walk in, and when confronting her on any issue she gets defensive and instead of accomadating she does not care. Pros: Great Stylist Cons: Unreliable, Confrontational, Random price changes, Slowest stylist you will ever come across Tip: If you do decide to go to this place, go to one of the other ladies to do your hair, and if you do decide to go to Sabrina make sure you have cab fair because by the time you get out of the salon, public transportation will have already stopped running properly… in other words don’t go to sabrina.
