Expensive and the chicken is not that good. Stopped going to this place.

Pricey pricey pricey. Food is not all that meaning it is quite bland. This place charges around $ 8 and up for lunch specials, when I usually pick up a big ass foil plate In Brooklyn for five dollars.

Decent place. The chicken is roasted, the rice is rice, and the beans are beans. Fairly average food, not bad, not great.

Very tasty chicken. The hot sauce is very good and the rice& beans are a great add on with the chicken. It is basically an Ecuadorian feel to the food, so if you are a fan, then it will definitely taste great to you. The price is decent but considering that in Briarwood, there is no other spot that offers a home made meal, this is really pretty good.

I love food and I usually cook my own food for my family. But, when I first moved to Briarwood and needed some good food, I found this chicken place. It is a small humble spot that you can smell the magic being made in the kitchen once your a foot away from the lintel. My first meal was chicken, beans and a carrot soup. I never had carrot soup and it was so good I told my vegan homies about this place. Now regarding the beans — my beans are south american with years of improving and I have been told«One can become a fiend after a spoon of your beans.» Real talk, this place makes great beans. I love this place. One more suprising fact, growing up in Queens you might expereince great tasting empanadas usually colombian made, The Chicken Hawk makes the ecuadorian way — and sooo good. All of them are incredible, I suggest to get two for breakfast of cheese — really brought it back to the brick layed roads in Ecua. Palante, simpre palante. Eat well, remember health is our greatest wealth, invest in your self — Eat good food!

I agree that the chicken is salty but I still think it tastes good. What upsets me is that the prices are a little high and they don’t take credit cards. I would also like to add that they have nice shakes and these French fries with hot dogs that are cut up in the shape of flowers. Its really cool. Make sure you bring mucho cash if you go though.

The chicken there is veryyy salty! They’re also very overpriced. If you want good spanish food, you’re better driving a bit south and making a left on Suphtin, there, you have multiple places to choose from.
